Hagel was stupid for taking the job. It was clear to me any blow back on ANYTHING relating to the military would land in his lap. The fact that Hagel calls himself a republican is more salt in the wound for me........idiot lib.

Hagel is slow, he should've known not to tangle with this administration. Typical Democrats, never taking the responsibility. Obama will now say he first heard about the exchange in the NYT, and all the DUmmies will believe him.

I saw the start of it on the news, but he was so full of bullshit trying to seize the moral high ground that I couldn't stand it.  The whole point about Bergdahl never having been charged is just administrative trickery, he normally would have been once it was clear he left on his own, it's just that either higher-ups in the political or military hierarchy decided he was more useful as a martyr than if he was treated like a Soldier going over the wall anywhere outside Afghanistan.
