previously it's court-martial & that is definitely not an investigation. The investigation would be an AR 15-6 Investigation, the court-martial is the criminal proceedings if deemed necessary. I know you are just sharing but as a professional, that is the correct information.

1.  Captured on the battlefield, not belonging to any state armed force, not beloning to any declared militia, they are not afforded any protection under the Geneva Convention.  No "charges" have been filed because none are necessary.  They hold the same legal position as "pirate".

2.  See number 1.

3.  As a deserter, who went straight to the enemy during armed conflict, he most certainly did not have to be retrieved.  What he needed was a bullet in the head for all of the crap he caused.

4.  Viet Cong?  Okay, name them.  Don't worry, I'll wait...

5.  Since the Taliban has stated they're going to snatch American Servicemen, we'll make sure you get a chance to tell that to the families of the servicemen that will be snatched to ransom more jihadis.  Face to face....

6.  Talk to Harry Reid, he has about 16 of them gathering dust on his desk.

The picture is shocking.  My guess is they were the wrong kind of muslim, i.e. Shia vs. Sunni. 

All the errors caused this little bit of artwork to be roundly ridiculed over the internets as soon as it was launched.

Any of you older vets feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, cuz I ain't as smart as them there Dummies.   Weren't the Viet Cong fighting us and the South Vietnamese along side the NVA, just they weren't "regular" army?
