The same is true for animal charities, especially HSUS & ASPCA. Local rescues & no kills, Saluki Tree Of Life, Mark Levin's & Tony La Russa's orgs are my first choice, but there are others. Always check them out if you don't know anything about them. I donated to Grey2K for awhile until I found out they were affiliated with HSUS.
