what ails the cousin
« on: April 18, 2014, 08:01:02 AM »
note: all the facts herein were provided by the cousin herself in more than 125,000 comments made on Skins’s island the past several years, and all of franksolich’s speculations, which might, or might not, be correct, are based upon those statements

- - - - - - - - - -

Watching the cousin the past several weeks, I think I’ve finally put a finger on what her problems are.

Trust me, nadin’s got lots and lots of problems.

This is of concern to me because it appears nadin and franksolich are related, through some common long-ago ancestress.  We’re eighth cousins twice removed, or second cousins eight times removed, or something like that.

The family resemblences are uncanny; we could almost be twins.

And if one’s family, one cares.

- - - - - - - - - -

What’s always bothered me the most is that the cousin seems to go out of her way to be as hostile and repellent as possible, to everyone around her.  She seems to do it on purpose, too.

Coming from the family she did, nadin is fully aware of rules of common courtesy and decent and civilized conduct, but rather than using those things she was taught so as to get along in life, the cousin appears to have wantonly--and self-destructively--done exactly the opposite, so as to not get along.

It’s in the general nature of people to want to get along, to want to like everybody else, to want to respect all, but obviously that “need” is absent in the cousin…..and from the other side, nadin in deliberately making herself as negative as possible, makes it harder for the rest of us to like her.

- - - - - - - - - -

From what she’s revealed of herself--which might, or might not, be the whole story--the cousin is one of four children, two boys, two girls, and probably the youngest.  She self-admittedly has one older brother who’s a physician (in the United States, of course, not back in the Mexican homeland), a sister who’s a professional dietician, and a brother who recently died who was successful in business.

Okay, having myself been born at the tail-end of a family, I know what that means.

Since there was no way the cousin could possibly out-star any of her older, bigger, siblings, accomplishing things of substance, she subconsciously chooses to attract attention simply by being outrageous; loud, raucous, rude, and a teller of tall tales.

- - - - - - - - - -

nadin’s mentioned many trips taken to New York City when she was a wee little girl, alleging such trips to be of a medical nature, despite Mexico even back then having free medical care for all.

However, she’s never mentioned the “why” of the medical treatments, but one can reasonably suspect what it was, given from the way she looks today, and given that she’s descended from an ethnic group noted for…..dwarfism.

About the time the cousin was a wee little girl, there’d been much work in things such as “growth hormones,” mean to stretch too-short people.  But it was pretty much all still experimental, touch-and-go, a little bit of this, a little bit of that, let’s-try-and-see-if-this-works.

And alas for nadin, she got stretched horizontally, not vertically.

The cousin’s a prime example of why children should never be experimented upon, excepting perhaps in life-threatening instances.  Dwarfism, while not necessarily aesthetic, is not life-threatening, and she should’ve been left alone, learning how to adapt to living with what she had.  After all, there’s many who’ve successfully lived with greater grotesquities.

- - - - - - - - - -

There’s no such thing as pharmaceuticals without unanticipated side-effects, and of course the more different sorts one takes, the greater the likelihood of all sorts of unexpected complications.

Apparently the parents were big believers in “better living through chemistry,” and apparently because nadin had other problems, probably of an emotional nature, the cousin’s been on all sorts of pharmaceuticals most of her life, the current ones dealing with the woes of being a woman.

How happier her fate would’ve been, if nadin had been born a hundred years earlier, and sucking down bottles of Lydia Pinkham’s Special Vegetable Compound for Female Complaints.

One doesn’t have to be a medical professional to see this; the cousin’s always been erratic and volatile, sure signs of pills affecting one’s feelings and one’s conduct.

- - - - - - - - - -

nadin makes a big deal about “bullies,” real or imagined, and one suspects it’s because of derogatory comments about her size, shape, and appearance.

She contributes to this by deliberately dressing like a slob, but that’s only part of it.

Usually it’s not nice to make fun of malformed people, but sometimes they’re asking for it.

One’s perception of another person isn’t really based simply upon personal appearance; the eyes and the brain are also absorbing information about the character and mannerisms of another person, which all together form the perception of the physical person.

If one’s really ugly, but has a pleasant manner, then others either minimize or delete those things that make one ugly.  If one’s really ugly, and has a piss-poor attitude about people and things, then others eyefully tend to exaggerate the deformities.

If the cousin were more modest and pleasant, probably most would never even notice her shape, or the other unaesthetic qualities she has.  They might even think of her as pretty.

I know this to be a fact, because like nadin, franksolich was born with a particular grotesquity, absent ears on both sides of the head, and deaf.  But yet never in my life, [undeniably] spent mostly among decent and civilized people, can I recall being “bullied” or laughed at.

I can’t identify them, but it’s probably been because I have other qualities--such as being positive about people and things--that obscure, or even totally eclipse, that which makes me a freak.

- - - - - - - - - -

The cousin professes to not acknowledge God, which one guesses makes sense, given that she oftentimes confuses her own self with God.

Being of Hebraic derivation, nadin comes from one of the finest groups of people, along with the British, ever to grace this planet; people known for their civilizing influences, their gracious manners, their sense of justice, fair play, and clean sportsmanship, their awesome cerebrality, their tenacious determination to survive in a world hostile to them.

Usually, one’s proud to be part of a most exceptional group.

But not the cousin; on the surface, she disdains her people and culture, because she thinks she’s smarter and better than they are, or were.  But that’s just the surface; inside of herself, she knows she’s not nearly as good as all those who came before her, and her overweening arrogrance is simply a frantic, desperate attempt to show that she is.

- - - - - - - - - -

Is there any hope for the cousin; is there any chance that she can become a better person?

I kindly suggest that nadin contemplate upon one of the principle tenets of the people and culture that gave her life circa fifty years ago…..that humility is the beginning of wisdom.

Wait for the Nadster to acquire humility?  You might as well start buying PowerBall tickets and planning how you're going to spend the four jackpots you'll win in a row.

Any mention from the cousin about the 7.5 magnitude earthquake in Mexico city?  Probably will take them awhile to notice any new damage I guess.

And I have heard of the theory of plate resonance. I have a few quake apps and I have not seen any really increased activity from let's say five years ago.

Though USGS has warned California we are overdue.

Quake apps, or a monitor the USGS makes her wear so they can weed out any false positives from her trundling around?

Ben Franklin was a big ol' sex freak, especially in France when he went over to try to broker a deal. Maybe nadin is just a freak like Mr. Ben?

I hope for her neighbors' sake that she doesn't take air baths on the balcony, like old Ben did.

Once again El Guapo has been caught talking out of her rather large posterior. The USGS has been saying California was over due for a huge quake for many years. L.A. and San Diego both have been waiting for the big one to hit and the dama ge will be huge of course. Probably the only thing that would keep The Great Kazoo from posting any more of her bullshit online/ If the local internet provider she uses was smart they would forget to hook her back up.
