DUmmies sure do lay down and quit real easy. She knew the boss didn't like her. She knew that the company didn't think she was performing to standard. Well, just about every business I can think of is a part of the relationship business. If the boss didn't like her, she should have found out what she was doing that hurt the business relationship and she should have acted to correct it. She should have been monitoring herself and making sure she hit her end of the year performance goals, because the only way she got put on a performance plan was failing to meet goals that were clearly marked down for her.
By the way, I have never seen stratospheric performance goals set at the end of the year, they are mostly derived from business interests and the employee handbook, meaning that they are the minimum an employee should hit.
