Not in todays world would any male, husband, brother, uncle or father sit in a car and send a female family member out to beg money from a strange male, unless the poster was an elderly women.
Oh yes the Gypsies do con old women who may not be too honest themselves. Had a case in town when a women not that old perhaps 65 was approached by 2 woman that said they had found a bank bag with $10,000 and would split it with her if she would give them $1000 finders fee. This woman was escorted to her bank to withdraw the $1000, taken out to the parking lot and given the bank bag full of cut up news papers.
She the older women was outraged, went to the police not realizing she had admitted to attempted robbery of money that was not hers. She was just as guilty as the scam woman.
Scams, they seldom change unless one replies to the E mails from Nigeria about some stranger leaving you in their will.
