Teachers are rallying in Topeka We are being XXXXXX by republicans

WICHITA, Kan. - Teachers filled the Capitol in Topeka Saturday to let lawmakers know where they stand. Randy Mousley is the President of United Teachers of Wichita and was one of the 500 teachers in the state building over the weekend.

"I think this shows where we stand. What lawmakers are doing is unacceptable and they need to get back to work and focus on funding schools in an equal way," Mousley said.

Mousley and other teachers are upset about a part of the Senate's plan that would do away with due process rights for educators.

"That means we could be fired for any or no reason, the exact same as a fast food worker or someone in retail," Mousley said.

Mousley says the Kansas Supreme Court called on lawmakers to fund schools equally no matter their zip code, not add new policy that Mousley says will hurt education across the state.

The plan had not yet been finalized as of 9:15 Saturday night.

Oh the horror of being able to get fired, just like the rest of us poor peasants.
I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

If you look at the cached version, you will find that the Xed out word was Raped, a notorious--for the DUmmies--trigger word. A bunch of primitives triggered over it so it had to be stricken.

Oh the horror of being able to get fired, just like the rest of us poor peasants.

Oh the horror of having to deal with an unstable teacher of your kid in public school.

Being military family I met some doozies.  Just because a person has a teaching certificate does not mean they are not rats Ass screwed up.  I met some extraordinary teachers for my 4 kids.

One a male called me in to discuss a paper my daughter 10 at the  time had written,  he believed she had had someone else write the paper for her.  Not only did he tell me he hated his job but wanted to be a journalist in the future. Then he went on to invite me to join him for dinner at a Lobster Shack.

Then the youngest son in another state that had his home room teacher in tears.   The boy would draw caricatures of her on the black board and she had a melt down.

Poor kids, spending hours a day with off the wall teachers.    Fortunately we enrolled 3 of them in a Catholic school. true one boy came out with a ear that had been pulled on by the Nuns, but these kids learned respect and when they went into public schools were amazed at the crap going on.

But what about 'equality' ? - or do you feel that you are somehow better than fast food and retail workers ?

Heh. If that upsets them, what are they gonna do if they enact outcome based pay or pay increases. Oh, and get rid of tenure.

Welcome to the real world.

Over the years, I've seen a lot of reasons to fire teachers.

 Poor performance
 Unruly classrooms
Too many teacher's pets to the detriment of the class
Bad reputation among parents and students
Keeping a cask in your top desk drawer
 Poor attendance
Looking down the girls blouses and always touching them

In my area, there once was a middle school where the district transferred all of their "problem" teachers, because they couldn't fire them.

So, 1% showed up.  1%.

If Pam was at the protest, it will be the only time she will be part of the 1%.

Parochial schools, at least in Boston, don't have that problem.

Yeah, but those were the top 1%ers.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

Pam has showed over and over that if not for the unamerican concept of "tenure" she would be fired from any job within a week.
I bet even Amber, the parasite, would last longer then the cabana boy, plagiarizing fantasizer would if everything was actually on equal terms.

She reminds me of the type that would show up in the first week of work and start wondering "when do I get vacation" and "how many sick days do I get".  Just to scam the system.

13. up date

I'm almost out of power, but I have tl post this. After hiding from us for 10 hours, House Repubs are now crying crocodile tears over children, saying they've been abandoned.

They are passing themselves off as the saviors of children. Makes me want to puke.
Up  date. Laundry  mat.  Air  port. At least Pam's consistent.

Wichita teachers - Public School Armageddon has arrived.

Six Horace Mann teachers are sitting here crying as I type. This is no joke...This is a nightmare.

No way Pam wrote this. She can't spell Armageddon. She's never even heard of Armageddon.

There is confirmation that the Kansas NEA director Heistand has confirmed that the Koch Bros have traveled to Topeka
Well then, that settles it.

And now, Pam Dawson's best post since trying unsuccessfully to get laid on that cruise ship:
