So I played with my food again.
This time salad.
I took a cup of blueberries and puree them. Then added a table spoon of onions and half a crushed clove of garlic. I placed in a saucepan, on low, till I could taste the flavors mingling.
While still warm, I added Balsamic vinegar and just a touch of olive oil.
I let it set for a day in the refrigerator and then pored over a salad mix, a small can of Mandarin Oranges, and thin sliced (and diced) honey ham.
Yum!
The National Association of Fictional Spirit-guides has called me to task. They say that recently instead of helping people I’ve been making fun of them. Personally, I don’t see it that way, but I’ve been instructed to be more helpful or suffer the repercussions. So here goes…
LFR, bless your heart, just stop it. Stop it. The good people of Arizona forked over enough money and/or food stamps that you could get some blueberries. Just eat them.
Let’s look at what you’ve done. You’ve mixed blueberries, onions, garlic, vinegar, salad (which I take to be lettuce and other greenery), oranges and ham.
For all intents and purposes you made slop. Stop making slop.
By the way, if you did really eat that particular slop you might need to think about saging your apartment. It is a little known fact that when garlic is mixed with certain greenery and consumed it calls forth the spirit known as Valugo. He is a very ancient spirit that doesn’t really do well in the modern world. According to references when Valugo is called forth to a dwelling he curses the occupant. The cursed occupant loses his or her blessings (like your government freebies) and is doomed to perform hard labor to survive.
I wonder if that was helpful enough?
