Teaparty lunatic started calling me up threatening me at the top of her lungs. Apparently I'm going to "lose everything and never have a nice life" because I go into my garden, find bugs that never lived this far north before, and believe it's due to climate change.  
 (what kind of bugs?  killer bees?)

Until then, she was welcome to her beliefs and even allowed to bore me to tears with her silly rants about how "they" were going to take over the government ("they" being a teaparty general she "knows"). But when it escalated to threats against me, that was a bit too far down the pike to the loony bin. Enough already.

I got off FB when I realized most of my 6 siblings and their children posted crap like "Its America, speak English!" and other racist crap.... and some of those same siblings have grandchildren of more then one ethnic background, and I am not talking Irish vs English here! Although that tension arises occasionally!

I have very few. Most of them are very quiet now that Obama has ****ed every thing up. Some now claim to be libertarian but in their libertarian mind additional layers of government are added not eliminated. For example the legalization and state regulation of weed.

I did 'un-follow' a relative.  A bona fide occupooper.  Still get occasional comments that show up in response to something I post, but the entertainment value from those is not political and very comedic.  Still, this person is family.

I don't know what my friends and family political leanings are and don't want to know. Me and my friends have an agreement....we can talk about anything except politics and religion. I value their friendship more than what political party they belong to, something the Dumbasses seem unable to do.
