The New York Times stylebook refers to the jug-eared muslim as President Obama or Mr. Obama.
It uses the honorific "Mr." when referring to any man in a story, even criminals which is very unusual in contemporary journalism.
The term "Mr. President" is universally used when addressing any American President in person.
Every journalist, White House employee, congressman, and courteous citizen addresses the President that way in person.
Its use is certainly not confined to the New York Times. I guess the nutcase has never been to a White House presser.
