Because I'm not ready to let it go...
« on: March 24, 2014, 06:30:30 PM »
You guys know those meth progression pictures?  The ones where they show a series of mugshots of a person who gets arrested over the years of being addicted to meth going from relatively normal looking to butt ugly?  Well, I've got something I want to share with you:

I don't support any one candidate.

I support all of them.

My girlfriend has Multiple Sclerosis. Bush has vetoed seven bills while in office, five of which have been health-care related, and three of which directly affect modern science's ability to treat and ****ing destroy this goddam disease in her body.

Every Democratic candidate, armed with a friendly congressional majority, will reverse that murderous anti-science trend if they win.

All of them.

So you hepcats can brawl about crying and black people and corporations and the price of houses. That's cool.

Don't expect me to take it seriously, though. None of that has anything to do with making sure my girlfriend doesn't wake up blind or paralyzed someday because no MS cure has been found due to right-wing political nonsense.

21. "See voters! It doesn't work!"

But Faux News bubblehead/GOP asshole/hate radio dude, I keep getting refund checks from my insurance company. My premiums are shrinking and my sick child is no longer being denied coverage. I don't get it?

"Just trust us, it's not working"

Whatever.

If you're not sick right now, you will be, so if you're one of the people fighting the Affordable Care Act, wouldn't it be an example of enlightened, conservative self-interest to make sure this law is as robust as can be?

The ACA makes sure your insurance company can't shaft you if your inevitable illness becomes too expensive for their balance sheet.

God damn it. How the hell do you get blindsided by your own f%$#@*g legislation???

They wrote it. They knew what was in it. They knew some policies were going to get cancelled because they did not meet the ACA standards, but are acting like this is all coming as a big shock.

Blindsided by their own legislation? For real?

What I've learned about the Affordable Care Act

The insurance company I signed up with through the ACA exchange just denied coverage of my wife's multiple sclerosis medication. We're "covered," to the tune of $700 a month...just not for what she really needs.

A cozy loophole, that.

**** you, insurance industry.

**** you, Mr. President, you piece of shit used-car salesman.

From my heart and soul, **** you.

3. I long for a time machine.

I helped, in my own small way, to promote this thing, because of the pre-existing conditions aspect that would benefit my wife. I feel like a ****ing dupe.

On edit: I AM a ****ing dupe. Last time that happens.

I wonder how ugly little William looks to his sick wife?  I wonder if she'd rather have to deal with a drug addict than a forty-something DUmbass child?

The only silver lining to Obama-democrat Care is that it will **** the DUches harder than the rest of us. It is super delicious because the DUmmys all thought it would Unicorns and Skittles under the biggest tax hike in history and the the super efficient government taking over the medical industry.

It might be wrong but I hope that a lot of the leftists change from breathing into being planted because of Obama-democrat Care.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

In bold... I have said for years.  I couldn't even understand for the life of me why the same people who are always weary of the Government and into every little Government conspiracy would want the Government running their freaking Healthcare.  Well, I mean I know the answer.  If a (D) recommends it or passes it is the greatest thing since sliced bread.  Seriously though, look at the Post Office, Amtrack, NASA, the VA, Medicare or Medicaid, Social Security, any major run Government entity and show me the shinning example of efficiency and productivity.  There isn't any... not one.  And you idiots want these same people running something that affects your Health?  Are you kidding me????  I know your not, and your not even happy with the ACA you want single payer which would be a disaster of such monumental proportions I really couldn't even imagine.

Not to worry, no chance of that. The Duped Drunken Trustafarian wants single payer or nothing.  The success of the HHS burning aborted fetuses for heat as medical waste and the gold standard Cuba, where taxi drivers make more than doctors.

Exactly, it had nothing to do with curing anything.  The goal was to make us think of aborted babies with the same compassion as we would a '72 Chevy we were stripping parts from in the junkyard.   :censored:

For the first time I'm gonna have to disagree with you on this one. The times were then as they are now. The DUmmies just couldn't see the forest for the trees.

I knew it was a cluster****. You knew it was a cluster****. The DUmbasses, not so much.
Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.
