A proposal that could help the Democratic Party win the House and keep the Senate.

1. Raise the minimum wage and tie that raise to inflation.
2. The federal government will be the employer of last resort. If you can not find a job we the people will provide one for you, as well as pay a wage so that you can take of yourself and your family.
3. End the drug war, legalize marijuana and tax it.
4. End our Free trade policies and replace them with Fair trade that protects our workers.
5. Provide a path to citizenship for the undocumented people living in the US.
6. Extend Medicare to all Americans
7. Forgive Student Loan debt while increasing grants and scholarship money to all current and future students.
 
If the Democrats were to propose these seven things to the American people and not back down from them and when they do win actually get them past, the Republicans would go the way of the Whigs.

Why not forgive ALL debt? Why just students? Mortgages and credit cards are holding more people down than students.

Combine that with raising the minimum wage to, oh, $40 per hour, and in one fell swoop you have eliminated poverty.

Just declare a great National Jubilee Day!

If one wouldn't know any better, one would assume the DUmbass doesn't understand we're 17 trillion in debt and running about 22% real unemployment.

You can call me a commie CC comrades but I am on board 100% if the primitives you can show me a balanced budget for the next 50 years that pays for every single bit of this all while bringing our debt to zero.   :-)

Damn, I'm disappointed.  Only 5 listless replies.  Usually, when a fire like that is started, they start frothing at the mouth, going hogwild for all the free stuff they can imagine.  It's so entertaining.

Knowing what DUmmies don't understand about business and how the economy works, their attempt at how they would pay for this wish list would certainly be entertaining.

I really wasn't paying attention the other night to the TV News when they had a story about a company with these liberal dreams of higher minimum wages and such....they hired criminals to give them a chance at a normal life......yes they had a list of demands similar to the DUmmies list that they pushed....one little problem.....they were being sued for not paying overtime.

Laws for thee but not for me......standard DUmmiecrat way.
