CNN poll: Obama, McCain in a statistical dead heat....excuse me?
   
who in the **** are these folks polling?

CNN) -- With the dust having finally settled after the prolonged Democratic presidential primary, a new poll shows Sens. John McCain and Barack Obama locked in a statistical dead heat in the race for the White House.

With just over four months remaining until voters weigh in at the polls, the CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey out Tuesday indicates that among registered voters nationwide, Obama holds a 5-point advantage over the Arizona senator, 50 percent to 45 percent.

That represents little change from a similar poll one month ago, when the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee held a 46 to 43 percent edge over McCain.

It's an outright LIE. There is no statistical dead heat. The media is creating one via their own polling because it will help their ratings. A dead heat is compelling, something exiting, a competition like the Yankees/Red Sox rivalry. Who will tune in if they already know that Obama is kicking ass and will definitely win? More importantly, how will the GOP steal the election if all the GOP news orgs have been reporting on Obama's huge lead all summer?

Now remember, folks, when we were over at our new home and Pedro Picasso paid us some visits there, he always insisted the Impeached One had won the presidential elections of 1992 and 1996 by Reaganesque landslides.

When in fact the Impeached One is the only two-term president in American history who never one at least one election with a majority of the popular vote.

Saying something is a lie doesn't make it so. I would call this a standard case of DUer in denial but perhaps because of the concept of 'atman is brahman' then his reality is up for grabs and merely a thing of his own creation in which case it wouldn't be denial just pedro's own view of reality. I don't see how they can say Obama is in the lead at all.  This must be a lie .... I don't know anyone who is voting for BHO and seeing as how I'm the center of the universe the BHO lead must be a lie.
