Moving on.....
I haven't posted because I didn't want to be a continual downer.
It is painful without Mousie. Scat keeps looking for her. She will periodically walk around the apartment meowing for her. She comes back looking puzzled. I don't meow but I think I do that too without realizing it.
It's weird without her because we were like three planets who had settled in familiar orbits around each other. Now that Mousie's gone, the orbits are out of whack. We had developed many patterns that I wasn't aware of until she passed.
I was not the sun in this arrangement. I may have been the biggest with more responsibilities, but Mousie and Scat each had qualities that had just as much pull. The love and constant company were as important as anything I did if not more.
I have not had roommates so we were the 3 amigos for 17 years. We are still the 3 amigos in many ways.
I will add 2 tiny amigos at some point. Scat and I will know when and who at the right time.
Until then....
To recap for actual adults who do adult things: AGG is an unemployed crazy cat lady with two cats so old, I am not convinced they aren't really tortoises with pasted-on fur.Like almost every DUmmy, she doesn't merely have cats. She has cats that are perpetually at death's doorstep, dreaming lazily about the day when they can go to the open can of tuna in the sky and be rid of this
stupid, infantile woman who refers to cats as "kittehs" and dogs as "puppehs."
The above post reads like one from a woman undecided on whether to look for another cat or take a dirtnap herself. No DUmmy, however, recognizes her for the suicide threat that she is, so they
all send her the requisite healing white light and such.
It also seems as though she's threatening to go away for a while to grieve, which for a lonely old grieving woman, is likely to be the last thing she ever does.
At this point, you have to wonder who's going to get there first: the paramedics, or the crew from Hoarders.
I am magnanimous this morning, so I vote for the film crew.
Except wait, they canceled Hoarders.
Oh well, AGG, I tried.
