A man with poultry in his pants?  I'm literally speechless....  I mean, I've got nothin'...
"We make men without chests and expect of them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honor and are shocked to find traitors in our midst. We castrate and then bid the geldings to be fruitful."

C.S. Lewis

A community may possess all the necessary moral qualifications, in so high a degree, as to be capable of self-government under the most adverse circumstances; while, on the other hand, another may be so sunk in ignorance and vice, as to be incapable of forming a conception of liberty, or of living, even when most favored by circumstances, under any other than an absolute and despotic government.

John C Calhoun, "Disquisition on Government", 1840

Chicken scratch is more than nothing, when it happens in your pants.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

Haaaaaa, this man has nothing on the brave and daring men that shop lift live lobsters and put them in their pants.

These chicken parts were dead, so no problem, big deal, like stealing a steak.   Nothing manly about that.

However, it takes nerves of steal and to enter a shop, go get a few lemons and a pound of butter, then saunter to the lobster tank  lift out a 2-3 pound lobster cold dripping water and put the angry living and kicking creature down ones pants front, stop and pay for the lemons and butter and exit slowly from the store.

Not a lot of men up to that task,  a dismembered chicken or steak thief has nothing on the brave and misguided folks from out of state that have never seen a live lobster.

This man is just an every day run of the mill shop lifter.    He did nothing girls do.  My Kudos go to the men that will brave the elements to smuggle living lobsters out of a shop sitting atop their manhood.   Now this takes bravery, and a few shots and a beer to accomplish.

S.C has some awesome crab shacks.  Right on the docks the crabs brought in on the boats hours after caught boiled and served to the crab lovers.

Same up here, the lobsters and the little neck clams steamed with corn on the cob-----

As far as open carry we up here can and do such, helps when deer hunting to have a side arm in case   the deer or moose is not dead when approached and  jumps up  and kills the hunter with their hoofes, or horns.

Um, every live lobster I have ever seen in a grocery store tank has had its claws taped.

Yup but the lobsters still have their legs loose and these they use to crawl and go where they wish to.

Yup, experience as a kid going out in small boats to puling the lobster traps.

Back in my younger years we used wood plugs to freeze the claws, today we use rubber bands.  Lobsters do fight and  if kept in a cage  under water would fight to the death------so to keep the lobsters whole the claws have to be kept closed one way or the other.

A lot of people up here in my area would buy a lobster license from the State and put out a few perhaps 10 traps a year.   Have to check them darn things every 2 days or so, the bate we used was salt red fish and smelled to high Heaven.

Hauling up from the bottom of the river a trap was not for any man or boy that did not have a winch on a boat be it 16 foot or a 20 foot lobster boat.  Hard work for the fishermen.  The traps had bricks in the bottom to insure they would sink and lay on the mud of the river.

One thing I was taught was the first thing to do when a problem came up was to remove the knee high rubber boots as to fall overboard these would drag one down, most lobster men I ever knew wore a sharp knife on their leg so if they became intangled  in rope could cut the rope off.

Interesting life the Yankee Fishermen live, then and now.
