Hmmmm.

It looks to me as if the cousin's getting special treatment, possibly because she's such a bawl-baby.

I'll bet the "average" primitive with nine comments alerted upon gets at least two or three of them hidden.

Mine doesn't. Any mistakes show up as I type.  If I'm quoting someone, it even underlines mistakes in their post.  It's just a matter of looking at what I typed before hitting the post button.  (Sometimes I don't do that and still make mistakes.)

I don't understand why anyone is making a big deal out of nadin posting so much on DU. Based on her previous posts she has pretty much done every single thing that a person can possibly do in life PLUS she already knows almost every single thing that is there is to know in the universe. The only thing left for her to do is post at DU.
