What a beautiful day!
« on: March 16, 2014, 10:20:34 AM »
There's no real subject to this post other than I'm grateful for a lovely Sunday, sunny and in the 50's (so far) and, at this moment, life is good. I know I can complain with the best of them and there's much to complain about, but today, life is good. if there were football on today, I'd be even happier but it's March, ya know?

How is everybody?

I am not home :( boo -- but I jut got back from a very successful business trip :) -- yay!

It is still too cold outside (here in Toronto_) to go out but it is sunny and thank God we have a break from snow for a while!

I got a great rental car upgrade (Charger) so life is as good as it can be for a Road Warrior.

Thanks for asking and I do hope everyone has a fantastic and blessed Sunday -- with family if possible!

There are a lot of folks from Toronto coming down to Sarasota. I met quite a few last week at Mote Research and Aquarium, where SR and I volunteer. We had a little cold spell (in the mid 60's) and said so sorry that the people from Canada and the NE came during this time. They looked at me like I was crazy.  :-)

One guy said they had just had 2 feet of snow back home, and it was wonderful here in Florida. How quickly we forget here.

It's a beautiful day here, mid 70's. I love the sunshine here. But I'm not too thrilled with all the pollen. I need to go to the store again and lay in a big supply of Puffs tissues. My nose runneth over in the am. Our bushes and trees are growing like crazy.

It was 60 degrees yesterday and sunny. Today it's partly cloudy and 30 degrees with a chance of freezing rain and snow this afternoon.  Below 20 for the lows tonight.  Typical March weather in Illinois.  :argh:

It is beautiful here as well.  :)  Going to be in the 50s.  No wind.  Going to trim my horses' feet, go watch a St. Pat's parade in a town of 250 with friends, and then go see if I can ride the frisky beasts.

Temp in 70s.  Trimmed a few pine limbs with the Stihl pole pruner, will gather them up for burning tomorrow.  Did the couple hours yard work shirtless. (Don't need no steenkin' sun block)

Been watching the radar image of the bad weather approaching from Tallahassee, so I got everything put away until tomorrow.

A good day today.
This too shall pass.

What is this "50 degrees" of which you speak?

We still have two feet-plus of snow in the yard.

It IS a beautiful day.

Woke up this morning to about an inch of snow on the ground, and it's still headed for 50° today. (Down a bit from the beautiful flying weekend we had here.)

It is a beautiful day today in big B.R. Just got back from my beach condo. Should have stayed longer but we had some bad weather Sat. and Sunday in the Florida panhandle. Will be heading back in April.
