LaserHaas - Doubling down on stupidity yet again

Romney's Bain Gets Away with Stealing eToys.com (he thinks)!

Yesterday, March 12, 2001, the Delaware Bankruptcy Court issued an order permitting Barry Gold, Paul Traub and the law firm of www.MNAT.com to wind down and close the eToys bankruptcy case(s). This is making Mitt Romney jump for joy that his worries about the "retroactive" era of August 2001, back to February 11, 1999 - are now (he hopes) finally coming to an end. Romney hopes that he and Bain get away 100% 'Scot Free' for Stage Stores, Kay Bee and eToys frauds.

However;

The greatest plans of mice and men don't always go the way the planner wishes.

Yours truly is an amoeba trying to swing the tigers tail to a stand still. It ain't easy taking down big sleazy; but I've been at it now for 13 years and I'm not going anywhere.

Because I've GOT THEM.

Just need one (just 1) honest public servant - to do their job.

More blathering nonsense at the link above.  I am just constantly amused at this "private attorney general" and his/her/its antics.

I think a good indicator of the strength of one's case is how vociferously one makes it to an internet message board.

In response to this news, Mitt Romney emitted a vague fart as he rolled over in bed.

Romney only has 24 business hours left of freedom.

That is clinical mental illness right there. That DUchebag should be isolated for society for its own good.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

He's got a link to a motion to dismiss, it's a PDF file, and it looks legit.  He goes by Steven "Laser" Haas on legal documents.   :mental:

Between watching the SEC and ACC basketball tourneys on TV last night, I read over the Motion to Dismiss. The lawyers use every legal term in the book to call Haas a whack-job. And he is.

At some point the courts will probably need to have him arrested for harassment and have him spend a few years in the pokey.

Haas has been filing abusive and harassing pleadings in the Bankruptcy Case for years. Like the complaints here, those filings are largely unintelligible and filled with false and abusive personal attacks. There is no reason to think that Haas will suddenly reform his pleading practices if given another chance.

It's hard to pick a favorite line!

That's a good one.

I like the often repeated:

Quote from:
To the extent the Allegations of the Complaint can be deciphered,...

Also

Quote from:
The Complaint is exceeding prolix and unintelligible. It strings together a narrative of disjointed factual allegations, opinions, personal attacks and political commentary -- all in no particular order.

I mean, that's pretty much a summary of everything written on DU.

I owe you another one later for pointing out how entertaining the motion itself is.

DUmbasses. If I owned a company, and just couldn't keep it afloat, and really cared about my employees, I'd be happy to have Bain come in and buy me out. They don't buy companies to close them down, stupid DUmbasses, and if some are laid off, it's due to trying to make it financially viable as salaries are the #1 expenditure of most companies. To you I guess it's better to have ALL lose their f'n jobs just so rMoney and the Reichthuglican Bain don't take it over.

His obsession is getting scary.  I predict that one day we'll see "Laser" in the news after being arrested for homicide or attempted homicide on Romney or one of the other parties mentioned in his claim.
