You read the article wrong. Nowhere did I say 1983 for flood dynamics. It was 1983 in placement of the surface low and upper dynamics. Granted it did not last as long, it brought severe weather to the area … and the parent surface low was in the exact position as March 1983.
 
So part of this ‘article’ is defamation in which i did not predict what you stated …

One more thing, free piece of advice, if you did not try to pass yourself as official, or use NWS formatting, perhaps you would have less people really having an issue with you. Or for that matter, and I really wish you success in the be careful what you ask for department that is, your quest to “bring down the NWS.” Behave like a business, which you are, and stop attacking those who provide you with satellite imagery and predictive tools. Last time I checked you did not launch one satellite or mount the thousands of stations your and my taxes have paid for.

I do not take it personally if it is correct. Mentioning I said a thing about floods of 1983 compared to the storm that was to come (and did pass) is false, and mal-reporting at best.
 
I provide micro-climate forecasting and alerts people can understand. NWS is too conservative because of wasting money on resources etc. I don’t have to worry about that with making calls … I do not expect places to close down because of me nor want that …

The site/page is for personal use only, not commercial decisions …

Yes they did make their decision at Party-line but it will be rewarded in the end … as SCWXA continues to grow, I’ll donate a good amount for their website cause …

No one said I’m taking over NWS as a whole … I use their data to produce updates and forecasts … but I use it in my own way and technique to produce the forecast accuracy I have today. SCWXA is a source people can turn to if they want straight to the point forecasts and also learn something in the process. I don’t have 11k on my Facebook page by hyping storms. Most are staying, which means that I did an excellent job with the last storm …
 
But until you know the real me … Journalism 101 … You need to go to THE SOURCE to write about THE SOURCE. In laymen terms you need to speak with me (the source) and ask questions to me before writing anything down that could be considered defamation … Go to the source …

You have my email so if you want to ask questions you can, but posting stuff about someone without getting facts straight is against Journalism 101 …

I agree. I have wondered who gets stuck with editing nadin's articles.  To take her gobbly gooks and turn them into something that sounds half way decent, is a miracle.

the problem is that they convinced the admins of a formerly good place, I walked away from today, that they were that good. So there is goes, I walked away to avoid any reputation taint.

And I admit, I was taken by his original post on the storm. It looked so much NWS like.

Now don't get me wrong, he is at times decent, even good, at micro weather, but among other things he claimed he was called by Cal Fire to help with the Riverside fire. (insert the laugh tract) since Cal Fire uses their own predictive service, or them pesky people at the National Weather Service.

You really couldn't make that up if you wanted to kids.

Southern California Weather Authority, a private forecast site, has issued a statement indicating that “Southern California is about to have one of the strongest dynamical storms in may years, with all the ingredients there for a severe weather event, including the possibility of tornado dynamics. Dynamics like this have not been seen in Southern California since March 1983, when numerous tornado reports across the Basins hit,” the statement concluded, adding, “The tornado environment is increasing.”
