I'm no psychologist, but Malik looks like their Kenyan father who deserted Barack. George looks like Barack whose white mother abandoned him to his grandmother. Could this contribute to the disparate treatment of his brothers? Being thrown away by both parents should produce quite a mental pedigree.

Yep, while in the Marines I was shocked to hear a fellow Marine tell me when he was young he hated to visit his cousins because they would call him names. He told me they said HE WAS TOO BLACK.
