From AP, so I cannot excerpt this. It is a ruling by the 9th Circus.  :mental:

The administrators were afraid that the kids in the American flag shirts would enflame the passions of the latinos celebrating the Mexican holiday.... In America... Does anyone else see a problem with a Mexican holiday being celebrated in the USA conflicting with a legal US Citizen's right to wear any god-damned type of shirt he wants?   :banghead:

Yes, and it is utterly disgusting. But then, we're talking about something that transpired in a public school, which these days resembles an extension of DU...as does the 9th circus most of the time.

Is the school, in their attempt to keep the mexican kids from becoming enflamed at the mere sight of the American Flag on cinco de mayo going to not run Old Glory up the flagpole or remove all American Flags from the classrooms on May 5?

Happy Constitution Day! Ninth Circuit Affirms That It’s Illegal To Wear American Flag Shirts On Cinco De Mayo

It’s official: the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals has issued an order declining a request for an en banc hearing in a case involving four students in at a California high school who were sent home for wearing American flag T-shirts on Cinco de Mayo.

The full slate of Ninth Circuit judges has thus agreed with a lower district court and with a trio of appellate judges that officials at Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill, Calif. could censor students who wanted to wear flag-emblazoned shirts.

The federal appeals court issued its denial of an en banc hearing on Sept. 17 — Constitution Day.

More stupidity from the Ninth Circus of Appeals. Such a un-American decision by them.  :mental:
