I used to belong to boards on babycenter and they have very DUish debate boards and also termination support boards. You wouldn't believe how many babies with survivable defects are killed. Especially Down syndrome, those children are so devalued and deemed unworthy of life. These psychos convince themselves and each other they are doing a loving thing by killing their child. Of course really it is all about not wanting the inconvenience of having a disabled child. And they are writing about their D&E abortions, asking for footprints. All I can think is do they realize with a D and E their child is ripped apart in the womb (sometimes alive). WTF? They expect the killer abortionist to grab the disembodied foot and take prints with it? Do they even realize the horror of what they do? Talk about how sad they are, some who chose to induce have pictures. You CHOSE to kill that child! In what other situation does a murderer get hugs for posting pictures of their murder victim? The whole thing is so friggin sick i could puke.
Kraven, your post reminded me that serial killers will take souvenirs from their victims so there is always something there to remind them.
These serial aborter's are no better then then the post birth mothers that drown their kids in a tub.
I have a big problem with those that will not except a child with a disability. One can have a perfectly healthy and beautiful child that has a scrambled brain and goes on to commit horrid acts in their life time. One can have a child born with some kind of medical problem and grow up to find a cure for Cancer.
About souvenirs, we have a custom to request a lock of hair from a relative when they pass. How this got started, darn if I know. I have seen some remarkable examples of this custom in the elderly in the south where they send the hair away to be braided and placed into an empty watch case. One elderly patient told me her bracelet had her mothers and fathers hair inter twined. Wow the hair came from a relative that had died 80 years ago.
I myself came across a baby's lock of hair stuffed in an old box with a picture of my mothers sister who died at 6 years of age.
Then we have the odd story of a woman that came here with her mother from Haiti > The old lady died and to keep getting her welfare checks the daughter buried her Mom in the back yard. After a couple years the daughter dug Mommy up, removed a piece of her skull and sent if off to be polished and set in a 24 K frame for a necklace. Pictures on the internet at the time showed the item and it looked like mother of Pearl, beautiful.
No telling what customs or strange ideas people will have, when I hit the South that was the first time I EVER saw photo's of a dead relative in their casket, some of them had small children sitting atop the casket looking lovingly at dead grandpa.
Old Country Polish Catholics insist they if loosing a limb, finger or toe keep it to be buried with them.. Took us two days to find that darn finger when my daughters grand dad passed. But we found it and it went with him.
Perhaps we need to look more closely at some of these abortions preformed on the baby's at high risk. Ask what is or who is pressuring the mothers to abort and is it necessary.
I have a question here, if a mother is told to abort for her own health, she does so, can she bring the baby home to bury. Should we not make it a law that when a woman chooses to abort, she is responsible for disposing of the baby herself ?
For those that abort for life style, nothing will make a bigger impact on them then being handed a dead baby in a clear bag as they leave the abortion center.
Of course Frank would come up with the idea to leave the baby in the home freezer next to the cat.
