I never thought about the Island dwellers as being self segregating. The lounge lizards must be a different sub-species from the more active ones in general discussion.  

This little fire was just lit, but has potential, especially if the Klams are down wind of it... :popcorn:

Sheesh! It's like Idiocracy combined with Soylent Green in there.

I responded to a post once, in my capacity as a Physician Assistant, that smokers shouldn't smoke around their kids, or you know, smoke at all anyway. You should have heard the howls of outrage from the smokers. Everything from "nicotine isn't poison!" to "I've smoked three packs a day for forty years and I'm perfectly fine!" to "You're not really a medical provider if you dared to say something like that, so phthpthphthphth!"

I got called a torturer and an unethical provider when I mentioned an encounter once with a patient trying to shake me down for narcotics.

I have DU friends who are constantly raked over the coals in GD for anything at all or nothing.

It's insane...

Not sure what that's all about.  She said her bldg. had Wi-Fi, so she shouldn't have to go to the library for internet.  She's also supposed to be having her head micro-waved, so maybe she's just not up to dealing with the DUmp monkeys.
