I'm pretty sure that Facebook still allows you to block people from finding you or viewing your page even.

I agree with you here, mostly. The problems is that with kids, it goes from the internet to class and back. The minimum age for a Facebook page is 13. It amazes me how many parents ignore that "rule" for their kids. Our girls won't be allowed a Facebook page (or whatever the popular thing is then) until high school.
