DUmmies DO like their sensationalism.  The DUmmy's OP does not mention that the both the shooter and the victim (who was vandalizing his car, for the second time) are black.

The linked article shows a picture of both, but the DUmmy included ONLY the teenager's photo in the OP.  This set off a firestorm of outrage as to why white people are killing so many black teenagers, and they reference the Dunn and Zimmerman Florida trials.

A mischievous prank turned deadly on Saturday after a 15-year-old girl was shot dead by an irate Arkansas homeowner who is now facing first-degree murder charges.
 
Adrian Broadway was allegedly hit in the head by Willie Noble, 48, after the teenage girl and five other friends covered Noble's car with leaves, eggs and mayonnaise just before 1am on Saturday morning.
 
It was the second prank Broadway and her friends had played on Noble that evening - causing him to burst out of his home in Little Rock firing his gun at the car containing the teen and her friends.
 
Noble was arrested by police and charged with one count of first degree murder, one count of a terroristic act and five counts of aggravated assault - for firing on the other passengers of the white Hyundai Sonata.

Not only that, but there's no 'stand your ground' law in NYS.  The incident in question happened in a suburb of Rochester (all of the following is my best recollection of the facts).  The 'youth' charged Mr. Scott when Mr. Scott investigated a sound of breaking car glass next door to his home (the neighborhood had been suffering break-ins of cars in driveways).  Mr. Scott fired one shot from his .40 S&W handgun, killing the perp.  Mr. Scott was charged under NYS' laws, which require someone being attacked to 'retire' (leave) if at all possible, unless it becomes a self-defense situation.  Mr. Scott's defense was that it indeed was a self-defense situation; the jury saw it that way and (I don't remember which) either acquitted him, or returned a 'not guilty' verdict (same result, actually).

I live in Jacksonville and rarely a day goes by without some black person shooting another black person. I'm not kidding, it's like every other day a best. Saturday night some black person opened fire in a club and killed one and wounded 5. We have one white guy, Dunn, shooting a black kid, Jordan, and if you listen to the New Black Panthers its an epidemic that must be dealt with. Apparently blacks can kill each other in mass with little to no repercussions but if it's a white guy pulling the trigger then the conclusion that is jumped to is that it's open season on black people.

Perhaps many in the black community are just trying to mask the shame of being so disconnected from the black on black murders that they are trying to hide that fact by pointing to the seemingly rare white on black killings.

I have nice Biblical suggestion for the New Black Panthers and other race baiters

I can't see myself shooting at teenagers for egging my car.  Paintball or pellet gun maybe, but not shoot to kill.. That's messed up..

I think we agree with you. Jordan Davis did not deserve to be shot, in my opinion. He did escalate the situation by turning the music back up but I don't think that justified putting 3 bullets in him. I don't know the details of the 15 year old girl being shot but on the surface that seems like the response was greater that the cause required. This is a two way street. Those holding the gun need to be more controlled before they use it but the young people need to show a little more respect to those around them.

It was not told at what time the first vandalism took place, was it after sundown ?

We know the second took place at about 1AM.     So when a home and property are under attack  after dark how does the victim know the ages of the attackers ? 

911 --what is your problem.

Caller--- There are at least 5 people in a car that for the second time this night have vandalised my property.  I yelled at them the first time and scared them off but they are back again and doing more damage.  They must be drunk or on drugs.

911--- I suggest you leave your home and ask for their ID's to insure they are all over the age of 18.

Caller--- but there are 5 of them and they look about my size, I cannot go out there and confront 5 people alone.

911--we will have a patrol car there in about an hour. Go to a safe room in your home and wait for us to get to you.

When mugged on the street do we the victim have to request the ID of the attacker to know if they are just big kids or adults.
