Went to the drug store to buy something. Two years ago it was about $5...now its $9



 Have the flu and needed some medicine. The same product I bought a couple of years ago has almost doubled in price.
 
I haven't had a 100 percent raise in that time.

If it were just one product, ojay. But pretty much everything had gone up to greater or lesser degree.
 
It's obscene.

Rent goes up here in the Denver Metro about 8% every year. Raises are typically 1-2%. Rent is taking more of my money every year.

5. Same here, I've noticed prices going up and up by huge amounts, not just the



drug store, but also the grocery store. The prices are getting outrageous. I also went to the local hardware store recently because I didn't want to drive to Home Depot or Lowe's. I got four mending brackets and some screws.
 
It came to nearly $10 at ACE. These are items that back a few years ago would have been a few dollars, nothing special about them, product cost is well under a penny each. ... not that Home Depot or Lowe's are that cheap either, their prices keep going up and up.
 
A study recently found about half of Americans do not have enough assets to go more than about two weeks without a paycheck.
 
I have absolutely no idea where the US is headed with these pricing structures. The greed is overwhelming!

Guess what DUmbass,you are simply paying for Obumbles "skyrocketing" energy costs,his disastrous health care plan with its costs and taxes plus wait a few years when a portion of the Medicaid explosion costs shift to the states.
You think your rent is going up now,just imagine what county budgets and the property taxes that fund them are going to do then.

Not to mention the Fed is inflating the money supply by $85 billion/month to pay for Barry's deficits.

As always, the primitives fail to understand the basic economic principle of supply and demand.

Team Obama can't inject new money into US markets fast enough, as the supply of dollars increase, their value decreases.

Team Obama has done its best to thwart energy production that they disagree with. As the supply decreases, the value of energy increases.


Energy is needed for EVERYTHING. - from production of goods, to transportation, to marketing.


So, DUmmies, with the value of the US dollar sinking like a stone, while the cost of energy keeps rising, (both of which are Obama's doing) what do you think will happen ?

For food it is the stealth inflation of smaller proportions that really hurts. When King Barky the Liar was immaculated cans were 16 oz now they are 14 oz a 12.5% decrease. Orange juice used to come in 64 oz now they are 58 oz a 9% decrease. So in addition to the 20% price hike for a given unit, the unit size has gone down dramatically.

When Obama was coronated in January 2009, gas was $1.89/gal, now it is $3.35/gal.
This is what gas has done under Barry.


Here is what it did during the End of the Bush years and includes Barry's.  Note that there was a huge spike under President Bush. That coincided with late October when it became reasonably certain that Barry would be elected.
