There is a part of me that says this sudden "announcement" doesn't pass the smell test.

It's like they are trying version 2.0 of the "gay black athlete" meme.

First it was with the basketball player...that crashed and burned for many reasons namely he was a scrub player and his recently dumped girlfriend seemed very surprised at the announcement.

So this time they're going with the talented young College football player...and the left is hoping for better results.
