Live view, just an FYI
Last night had to cover a story, with standing room only. I used the tripod, take notes, record, photography...yup. One busy beaver. So used live view instead of the viewfinder to frame my subjects. This was one + hour! and two and a half batteries. If you plan to use it extensively, plan to have extra batteries.
Yup, charging as I type.

A pro combo journo/photog!
And Crazy Miriam gets all of that for the low, low price of zero.
Now she shares some of the nuts and bolts of photojournalism.

2. I hate to use it.
To be honest. But I had no choice. That room was packed. I placed the recorder on a table and prayed. I got good sound. Floating on this, not possible either.
Outside of political scandals this is rare.
Photos were ok though.
Here, the crowd shot. Should have used remote, oh well (and lift the tripod)

And that one shot, taken with The Good Rig, gives you just a hint at what a gifted photog nadin is!
I feel like I'm right there in that crowd of California moonbats. Yup!
