LITTLE CHUTE, Wis. (AP) - It's not dogs playing poker or Elvis on black velvet, but it's definitely more than a little cheesy.

A Wisconsin sculptor (Troy Landwher) has carved a version of John Trumbull's painting "Declaration of Independence" in a 2,000-pound block of cheddar.

I bet that would go nicely with some canned bacon.  :-)

I couldn't find a pic of his recent work so here is 'Mount Cheesemore'.

Tell me that I don't live smack in the middle of America's cultural center! ;)

You are blessed with artistic riches in Wisconsin. Have you seen these live?

That was a joke, right?  :lmao:

I will admit to have seeing the odd giant butter or cheese sculpture at a county fair here or there. *blushes*

Someone sculpted a 12 foot chedder penis for some hippy festival a couple years back.  Unfortunatly I missed that one.
I always wondered what the giant cracker for it looked like.
