Black activists from Chicago — perhaps the president’s most obvious supporters — savaged President Obama after his State of the Union Tuesday, expressing abject frustration at an administration that “doesn’t care” and “ain’t never done anything for the community.”

Rebel Pundit interviewed the small group of black community organizers moments after the conclusion of the president’s address on Tuesday. The activists universally panned the speech, which one referred to as “the same old, same old. A bunch of talk. A bunch of talk and rhetoric to give faith to a dying economy in America.”

A young woman claimed the State of the Union confirmed “the lack of involvement, the lack of concern for our community. He doesn’t care.” Another declared that President Obama “has been more hurtful to the black race than he has been helpful. For a lot of symbolic reasons a lot of people accept that — or should I say, most well-to-do blacks or those that think they’re better off — they accept that for symbolic reasons. But those of us at the bottom of the ladder, they don’t accept that.”

“Mr. President,” one young man said, “you know, we’d probably be better off with you cutting your presidency off right now. Just quit! Because if this what you call helping us, then stop helping us.”

I loved watching the speaker. He really understands how O is screwing over the blacks. Plus he speaks with some authority, making something of his life after being in prison. The Republicans, with his permission, should have a few of his lines in their political ads, especially the Mr President, you should quit. Obama will never reisgn. He needs the taxpayers to continue funding his and Moochelle's trips.
