poll: what changed cousin nadin?
« on: January 27, 2014, 08:46:03 AM »
Okay, this is a perfectly valid question, as it relates to strategic planning for future primitives.

As most have noticed, cousin nadin doesn't post as much as she used to; in fact, she rarely posts at all any more.

Depriving the DUmpster of some good inventory (which of course is franksolich's major concern).

Something got to her, because man, she used to be all over Skins's island.

Was it (a) her fellow primitives, who doubted her, and who felt no hesitation about saying so?--primitives such as zappaman, SidDithers, our own special mole who's not there any more, and all the other primitives who made it to the famous "iggy" list.

Was it (b) us, who quoted cousin nadin quite extensively, enabling both decent and civilized people and lurking primitives, to learn more about her?

Was it (c) external forces such as her husband, her boss at the metropolitan newspaper, and Skins, who told her to stop making herself look like a fool, to stop being so obnoxious?

Was it (d) cousin nadin herself, coming to the realization that she hadn't been doing herself any favors being the way she was, and so is trying to evolve into a better person?

Somebody, somewhere, got to her, as this is a drastic change in conduct and behavior.

One can only speculate, but speculate, please.....

If (c) includes Skinner's new suspension policy, then yes.

D, but not for the reason you listed. With over 100K posts maybe she is just running out of things to post.

I voted D because I think she truly believes she is the smartest in the room and just can`t accept that folks think she is dumber then a dried out cow pie.

None of the above.

I think the biggest factor is Skimmer's new automatic banhammer, which is being operated by juries riddled with moles. She's shut down to avoid the embarrassment of repeated timeouts.

The second issue is her humiliation and dejection at losing the DUmmy of the Year competition to grossly inferior competition for a second consecutive year.

I said 'not sure,' because 'The JOOOOOS!!!!' wasn't an option.  I think it can be covered under 'not sure.'

I can see that, they are kind of two sides of the same coin, since a lot of her self-image seems to be tied up in her on-screen presence.  I went with 'a' myself, since it seems that her loyal followers have been dwindling and the 'Bullies' becoming less tolerant of her delusional BS over time.  Of course it's always possible she is just spending a lot more time on some other interest, like her gaming stuff.

I think it was a combination of the primitives and us.  They saw us making fun of gNads and jumped on the bandwagon to help humiliate her.  (Something like that, since I doubt she knows what humiliation is.)

She's already in tip-top shape.

She told us a few months ago that she and her doctor agree she's already at her ideal weight.

Hair transplants would be a great idea, but a boob job? Not so much.

At her ideal weight, she has the figure a pumpkin on a pair of chopsticks. What would a boob job accomplish?

I voted 'us', but must expand on that.

Her fellow primitives worked on her as well, but I suspect some, maybe even many, got their inspiration from the posts over here.

In the way back days, I got a lot of my ideas for poking fun from the threads over here, then carried the ideas over there.  Many more of them (primatives) lurk over here than will ever admit it - and some of the poking fun stuff one can find here is pure gold.
This too shall pass.
