Legalizing pot is not only wrong, its evil imho.

Legalizing marijuana is the lowest this administration has ever gone to.

Do you guys agree?

What have we turned into? The land of the free and land of the high??

:(
If a Conservative doesn't like guns, he doesn’t buy one. If a Liberal doesn't like guns, he wants all guns outlawed.

This will backfire, like most liberal policies.

I'm not for legalizing it, but I am for decriminalizing it, except for those that sell it.  I think they should get stiff punishment.

My concern is for what it does to our youth.  We have enough problems with motivating them, we don't need to add another layer of navel gazers to the mix.

Ah now we are back to the 1920's and the reason the mobsters took over the country.

It one did not have a still on the hill, grandmas were making bath Gin, horrid stuff I have heard.

I do know that during probation the only ones that could import wine was the Catholic Church for communion. This lead to Politicians last person you would think of is dealing, High School Principle, kids coach, or head of the Fire Departmet or the Chief of police.

If Pot becomes legal all this graft and corruption will stop, some what.  As we know a plant anyone can grow is not going into the Chemicals any more then smoking tobacco leads to smoking Pot.

Drinking a beer---leads to smoking cigarettes---- leads to smoking pot.

Far as I care if people want to smoke banana leaves and are happy with that that, none of my problem.

HOWEVER, running into someone on PCP or Meth is not a good thing.   These people are at that time not really human as we know them. .

A drunk, a pot head, we are semi safe.   a person on chemicals scares the Hell out of me.

You stated your thesis. Now support it.

1. Support the statement that "this administration" legalized marijuana. Provide the date that the Federal law criminalizing marijuana possession and sale was repealed.

2. From your last two sentences, a reader can infer you are opposed to individual liberty and the exercise of free will. Support the statement with a description of your moral basis for such a statement.

And now, from the Aloha State . . .

Marijuana export could pay off Hawaii’s debts, lawmaker says

By Malia Zimmerman  /   January 24, 2014  /   No Comments

By Malia Zimmerman | Watchdog.org

HONOLULU – She promised she hasn’t inhaled, but House Majority Floor Leader Rida Cabanilla is looking to marijuana to solve some of Hawaii financial troubles.

Cabanilla said she hopes to legalize cultivation, manufacturing and exporting of marijuana and marijuana food products in Hawaii to pay off the state’s billions of dollars in unfunded liabilities as well as make infrastructure repairs and fund public education and human services programs.

“This state would turn into a manufacturing state. Can you imagine factories that would be making ‘Maui Wowie’ cookies and making marijuana macadamia nut candy for export? I think that would be wonderful,” said Cabanilla, who represents Ewa Villages, Ewa Beach, Ewa Gentry, Ocean Pointe and West Loch.

Hawaii has some $25 billion in debts, encompassing the state retirement system, the public employee union health fund and outstanding bonds. The state also needs billions in repairs for roads, schools and infrastructure.

RELATED: Taxpayers spent $350,000 on security for Obama’s Hawaiian vacation.

“I am not even a fan of it. But if that is what it takes for our state to be in the forefront where we can fix our roads, we can build more affordable housing, we can help the homeless — that is the route we should go,” she said.

'Minority party,' eh?  Isn't the Hawaiian legislature controled by Dems? :???: :stoner:

All the liberals are counting on is the taxes. I remember when the lottery was supposed to fix the schools, then riverboat gambling when the schools were still broke.

Soon chemicals will be used to grow the weed commercially. Who knows what our young people and Vesta will be smoking.

"We make men without chests and expect of them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honor and are shocked to find traitors in our midst. We castrate and then bid the geldings to be fruitful."

C.S. Lewis

A community may possess all the necessary moral qualifications, in so high a degree, as to be capable of self-government under the most adverse circumstances; while, on the other hand, another may be so sunk in ignorance and vice, as to be incapable of forming a conception of liberty, or of living, even when most favored by circumstances, under any other than an absolute and despotic government.
