Occupy may be down, but not out!

Things are rough, no question. But Occupy is not down for the count. Here are some examples!

TUCSON- As many of us crank up our heaters this week, there are some Tucsonans sleeping outside on cold sidewalks. . . .

The Occupy Movement is also having Demonstrations @ the park at Speedway and Stone at 4pm weather permits on most days

NOTE: That Park is now a "Safe Park" for homeless to sleep at night! It was not just homeless that was down there fighting for this. There was Teachers and a couple of Layers too!

Teachers sleeping in the park, and a couple of layers too!  Teachers on top of teachers!

Demonstrations, Parks, Teachers, and Layers must be important since they were all Capitalized.

So, she's a lousy Capitalist! Or perhaps "Amber Hoyt" is really a German spy. Germans capitalize their nouns.

All she did was provide some links, with excerpts, to other DU threads.  What was the purpose in doing that?

Her reportage is becoming as bad as gNads'.
This too shall pass.

She's following the standard for 'journos.' :whistling:

Hmm.... I may have to recant my previous claim that the biker is real.  My logic was based on the writing style of the biker being (marginally) more coherent and less-error strewn.  But now that I stumbled upon this nonsensical post, I am rethinking my position. While the message is nonsense, coming from Amber, the writing is amazingly clear.

Looks like I owe a great debt to our homeless vets, more than one would think.

Last edited Thu Jan 16, 2014, 10:40 AM - Edit history (2)

I have been thinking it over a lot since my meeting yesterday.

See, I found out that the program I am in is an experimental program that they started due to the success of the HUD-VASH program for vets. Due to the great success of that program, have they decided to try the same program set up for homeless with mental illness.

Only 50 of us have been put in this program at this time. If it works as well as the HUD-VASH program, it will start branching out to other areas.

However, if it was not for the Vets showing that such a program works, I would not have this opportunity. So thank you to our Vets!

If you read comments of liberals outside the DUmp,the random capitalization thing is a very common trait of leftists.
It is almost like a Freudian slip into their demented and unhinged mind.

Waiting on people is ha-a-a-ard!

They have all these expectations.
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

They're called "wait staff" for a good reason.  :-)

Seriously, most are very good.  Then you get the Amber type with the attiDUde.

I got snooze for ya:

“The national budget must be balanced. The public debt must be reduced; the arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled. Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.”

We see the value of a "communications degree" in those three sentences. Couple more spelling and grammar mistakes and she could be a teacher in a blue hell hole city. Hell, maybe even a principal.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

It's a common trait among illiterates of all political persuasions.

I also wonder how they decide when to add apostrophes to plural nouns.
