Question about my responsibility regarding related a related teenager

 Here's the situation. My cousin is out of town and her 18 yr old son is staying at home. Now normally one would not think an 18 yr old would require subversion of any kind, but my cousin thinks her son does and she may indeed be right. I'll spare you the details as to why. Anyway, I told her I'd let her know if he has any parties. (I live upstairs from them). So I went to let the dogs out and peeked my head in there because there is loud music coming from the place. I reminded him his mom said no parties. He said it's not a party, just a couple of friends, which does seem to be the case.
 
Okay, here's the dilemma. I smell pot. Now his Mom doesn't smoke pot, but his Grandmother who also lives there (and is currently out of town) is a pothead. If the kid is smoking pot, it's hardly a shock, though I don't believe he has done so in their presence. I still don't know if he's smoking pot. It could well be his friends. I personally could give a rat's ass if the kid smokes pot. That's the least of his issues. But my question is do I tell my cousin? I told her I'd call or text if he has a party, but I didn't offer to do more and she didn't ask. What do you all think?

The 18 year old is simply doing what DUmmies condone/recommend for the entire population.

Well Jugs, I normally would think an 18 year old raised by DUmmies does in fact need supervision. Considering DUmmies in their 60s all need supervision it's a natural assumption the 18 year olds would too.

  How old is granny, does she have any medical problems that require medication ???

Now if her pot smoking can cause relief from her problems with just a few natural grown weeds in the yard that do the same thing as a  high price some kind of medical product that costs $90.00 a month.

Her decision was to do...nothing. It was a "friend" of her cousin's son.

in a normal world...anyone doing drugs in my cousin's house would be worthy of a report. But at DU, drug use defines the membership. Its the one thing that defines them all.

No. The relevant point is you are not letting a mother know what is going on in her own home with her own son. If she is concerned enough about wild parties, she would be concerned about drug use under her own roof.

Sorry, way to sorry to believe I came over this thread with ought reading the up threads. 

This woman is living in the times today ignoring the past.  15 years from now she will not be able to leave her home with out a Berke to escape the Muslims that would target her as a whore.

So what are the given rights of a person, we see that one has to fight for it.

Some say God gave us rights, but that is nebula's, he may have given us rights but we have to fight ourselves for them.
