^Freedom of religion is not freedom from it.

edit^

Freedom of religion necessitates freedom from religion.  If the state imposes religious faith, there can be no freedom.

Davis didn't filibuster for late term abortions.  She filibustered for access to abortions, period.
Try reading what I actually write rather than attributing steretypical views to me.

You were doing fair for a while but, now you have resorted to lying.  Like the coach says, DUmmies lie, they always lie.

Actually her panties were all bunched up because late term abortion was under attack. I'm disgusted by her love of abortion.

After Texas state Sen. Wendy Davis' 11-hour filibuster helped defeat a controversial anti-abortion bill aimed at severely cutting access to abortion services across Texas, even her Republican colleagues had to express their admiration.

The bill would ban abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy, require abortion clinics to meet the same standards that hospital-style surgical centers do, and mandate that a doctor who performs abortions have admitting privileges at a nearby hospital.

This is the last part I was aware of.  The effect of that bill was to shut down family planning clinics across Texas, which is why abortion is so difficult to access there now.

Abortion is already illegal if a fetus is viable.  I don't know enough about the gestational cycle to know at what point that is.

And that is exactly why I asked that.  You have proved my point.

If schools are teaching it, they are failing - big time.  That's why parents should be responsible for teaching their children about sex education.  Of course, far too many parents these days have no business having and raising children.

So what if parents don't?  You think society has no interest in educating young people on how to avoid that kind of trouble?  Abstinence only education has been shown to be counter productive.  Kids who receive that rather than comprehensive sex ed are more likely to get pregnant.

Yet you expect and demand I pay for your birth control and maternity care.
[/quote]

Pure talking point.  I pay for my birth control through the contributions to my employer insurance plan and through my work, since my insurance is part of my compensation for my job.  The mandate to cover birth control is on insurers.  Insurance companies have paid for boner pills for decades.   You pay for nothing for me.  In fact, since I live in a one of the state's the sends the most to the federal government in tax dollars and receives the least, I probably pay for you, unless you happen to live in NJ or one of the blue states that pays more than MN.

The person who wrote that didn't know what he was talking about.

I have. You're wrong.

Keynes' The General Theory of Employment, Interest, and Money is available for free download here.

I invite you to read it. Keynes' central thesis was the "benefit" of central economic planning to prevent severe economic downturn. A two sentence summation of Keynes would be "Spend money you don't have when times are good. Spend more money you don''t have when times are bad". Do you know what Keynes' forgot (or ignored)? Putting money back in the piggy bank.

They're not available online as free downloads, but ]F.A. Hayek's The Road to Serfdom and The Constitution of Liberty are must-reads. In chapter 7 of The Road to Serfdom, you will recognize your Democrat Party masters by the end of the fourth paragraph.

Thanks.  I appreciate it.

I love how you say you don't want to impose your morals when it comes to abortion, but when it comes to guns you have no problem trying to impose your morals.

You don't personally oppose abortion, when you actively fight to allow it you don't oppose it.

If someone has an abortion, it doesn't hurt me.  When criminals have guns, it does.  My car has the bullet holes to prove it.

Little bottles of wine?

The proper ratio is 1 cup of wine in the pot : the rest of the bottle in the cook. If you buy little bottles, you're only cheating yourself.

I can't drink much wine.  I prefer beer or margaritas.  The little bottle definitely wasn't enough.  I won't try that again.  I was trying to be frugal.

But your quote was kind enough to confirm she was filibustering a bill making late term abortions illegal.  Also, do you disagree with the  requirements on clinics that are obviously to protect the patient.  Maybe we don't want to run our clinics like butcher shops in Philly.

Newspapers are passe fishwrap, reputable newssites (for which you are 2 - 6) are better but not always accurate.

Getting back to your quote:

Your conclusion is not supported by either the links you posted, nor economic fact that raising the minimum wage does nothing but raise the "floor" of the price of services that are not worth the prices that will eventually be charged.

IE, bullshit.

You asked for proof that some Republicans support abolishing the minimum wage, and you got it.

I saw that.  I had not realized that was part of the bill.  So I was wrong on that, and you were wrong to describe it as being about late term abortions only.  It was about access.

That's a very stupid conclusion you came to.  My point is that, yes, there obviously is a demand for middle aged cheesecake but you managed to miss your opportunity.

See, I had no idea.  I could be making $10 blowing some skeezy guy right now.  Clearly I've squandered my potential.   ::)

Well, what else are you wrong about and, I never said it was only about late term abortions.  Finally why don't you answer the questions about clinic standards.

Finally, your bullet hole story is absolute bullshit to give yourself a shred of credibility.  Didn't work liar.

Fabricated?  If they were fabricated, dear, I wouldn't have posted the link.  What I posted was a sampling of the well deserved, long overdue verbal ass kicking that the self proclaimed guardian of the holy vag, DUmmie Alexandra K BainsBane, received for her bent shitcan personality.  Others are free to see for themselves if you are right.

My mole is one of Alex's few supporters.  Another is a honest rival that challenges her, doesn't really like her, but gives her grudging respect.  Several others are her worst tormentors.

Or not....  One just never knows, do they?  ;)

I just want to know which one of you is Pintobean.  My money is on you.

MADem fabricated quotes that seemed to be from an alert he decided I had written.  I had not.  That was the proof he came up with as so-called evidence against me.  It was low and dishonest.

Credibility.  Because no one has their cars shot at?  I moved into a lousy location, ostensibly a good neighborhood but on the edge of one that isn't.  Whatever dude.  Doesn't matter what you believe one way or the other.  I missed the part about clinics. I'm moving through these quickly.

The only purpose of that clinic requirement was to shut down family planning clinics. It's one thing to oppose abortion and another to spew bullshit about laws that seek to do away with it.

Sound mean to you? It's the same attitude you have towards the unborn.

The purpose of the requirements (as clear from your own "bullshit" quote) was to prevent filthy butcher shops like Gosnell ran in Philly.

What I find strange is, leftists don't want anyone coming between them and their abortionist, yet they support Obamacare which puts the government between them and their doctor for everything else. I suppose privacy only matters when killing your offspring, but if grandma needs a pacemaker Obama can just send her home with a pain pill.

You could have stopped with "I don't know" and saved yourself some face.  20 weeks is "viable" and will survive outside of the womb.  Wendy Davis would see that unborn child killed and thrown into the trash.

No, sugar, I want to see the quotes where they want to bring back third world level sweat shops.  Either put up, or shut up.

Credibility.

You lost the sliver of it that you had when you claimed that there are more restrictions on abortion than guns.
