El_Johns should learn to either proofread or stop posting while high, that was a horribly-written slice of crap pie. However, to be fair, Atlas Shrugged did not really take into account the level of inbred, institutionalized corruption between big money guys and big corporate guys like we have now. Of course, in Rand's heyday, the level of government expenditures of public money for anything but national defense didn't penetrate the economy even remotely like the way it does now, and even then many of the national defense large expenditures were in government-run or government-owned facilities such as arsenals and naval shipyards.
