Maddow scorches Koch brothers on ‘correction’ demand: ‘I don’t play requests’

By David Ferguson

Saturday, January 4, 2014 11:12 EST

On Friday night, Rachel Maddow delivered a blistering reply to a letter from attorneys representing billionaire conservatives Charles and David Koch. While she has always been willing to make corrections on the show, she said, the Kochs’ current quibble is about a matter of actual verifiable fact and as such needs no correction.

Rachel Maddow Is Crazy, Too

MSNBC has had a hard time lately. The network fired Martin Bashir and Alec Baldwin for craziness, on-air and off-air respectively. Melissa Harris-Perry was forced to apologize, first on Twitter and then, tearfully, on the air, for making political hay out of Mitt Romney’s adopted grandson. The network put Ed Schulz out to pasture, and most people wrote Chris Matthews off as a hysteric long ago, so that pretty much leaves Rachel Maddow–amazingly enough–as MSNBC’s supposed voice of sanity. Eliana Johnson has reported on Maddow’s status as the “queen” of MSNBC, who wields more control than anyone else over the network’s often-crazed content.

Brilliant take down of Ms. Maddow

Worth the read and the belly laugh at how truly pathetically stupid Ms. Maddow is.

45 minutes before Maddow’s show began, her producer sent this email to representatives of Koch Industries, with which MSNBC has long been obsessed.

The Koch employees who received the email were a bit nonplussed, since Koch had nothing to do with the Florida welfare legislation in question, and had never supported–or, as far as I know, ever heard of–the Florida Foundation for Government Accountability. One of them responded to the producer; by that time, the show was already in progress:

Rachel Maddow, naturally, didn’t wait to learn the facts. Her segment on the Florida law, which required drug testing of all welfare applicants and had just been struck down by a federal judge, was all about Koch–bizarrely so, since Koch had nothing to do with the law in question.

I expect the Kochs could dip into petty cash and buy messnbc but, since they are self destructing, why bother.

Maybe they'll go the way of Newsweek and get sold off for $1. I'm sure someone out there would love to buy them just to fire the moron "talent."

I'm confused why the Brothers Koch don't slap a multi billion dollar law suit on comcast, Mr. Maddow, and her producers. Retainers gots to be used.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

They would have to show some harm from her attempted smear.  Since a solid majority support drug testing for social parasites, I expect the Kochs have befitted from the kerflunkle.  Personally, I just went to Wallmart and purchased one of those giant packages of paper towels in a show of support for them.

I would use any loss of anticipated profits or sales revenue and I could also see a defamation suit brought by them as they are libertarians and probably against anything that government forces someone to do. As well, just having the goon squad at MSNBC have to fight a legal battle would hurt them financially and put the light of day on their cesspool

Sorry, I missed that, like anything else the dyke ever said.
“The national budget must be balanced. The public debt must be reduced; the arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled. Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.”

I don't need to see further proof of that. I knew when she said that the F-22 doesn't have enough body armor.  :banghead:

Rachel Maddow says that any company that supports the State Policy Network is “affiliated with” the Florida Foundation for Government Accountability, and is responsible for everything FFGA does...

But wait! A final level of deception remains to be revealed: one of the many companies that have contributed to the State Policy Network is Comcast, which owns MSNBC and is Rachel Maddow’s employer.

In effect, Madcow is contributing to those wanting drug testing for welfare people.
