Tue Jan 7, 2014, 01:51 AMStar Member LaydeeBug (5,862 posts)My Daddy had a stroke today, and he most probably won't make it...He has been on the decline for a while, and I am a grown assed woman, but somehow feel all alone without him. They are observing the blood on his brain situation tonight, but I am bracing myself for the worst.I mean, when the chaplain comes over to you...TWICE...it might be time to take a hint.My heart is breaking, but I still feel lucky to have had him. I am also in shock. We might lose a good one...he was yelling about 'those damn republicans' this very morning.

If my father was in the hospital with a serious condition, I doubt that I would bother with internet message boards. That's just me though...
Congratulations. You're normal.
I think we found the cause of his stroke . . .See? Lefty policies are the culprit.
I hope he lingers.
Even more, I hope the nursing station keeps all the TeeVees in the rooms fixed on Fox News while he's lingering in his vegetative state.
