I need a list of the Cheap Ass Bastards (Restaurant Chains) who only pay the Wait Staff $2.13 per hour because I don't want to patronize any of them

I became enraged when I read this and I REFUSE to spend my money in any establishment that does that to fellow human beings

Even more shocking is the so-called tipped minimum wage (for workers who rely on tips), which has been frozen at $2.13 since 1991.

Guess you won't be eating at any restaurant soon.

If we doubled the wage rate, you'd be paying $15 for a crappy burger at Applebee's rather than $7.50.

Guess what the DUmmies don't realize is that if the server doesn't make enough in tips to make minimum wage, the employer is supposed to make up the difference.  And unless you're in a totally crappy restaurant or a godawful employee, that almost NEVER happens.

Oh well, nice try, but you lose again.

From what I know about waitressing, I got an hourly wage plus tips.  My shifts were usually 6 hours, five days a week.

I was also given a section consisting of anywhere from five to six tables.  Sometimes more on a slow night.  If your good at what you do and turn your tables over quickly you can make a lot of money in tips.

Of course it all depends on how good/popular the restaurant is.

When I first joined the military I was paid a little less than $500.00 a month.
I seem to remember running the numbers based on 24/7/365 of about $.98/hour
Now would the lib patronize the military that paid less than $1.00/hour ?
