Vesta, try the Wren's Nest Motel. I have a friend that lives there with her pooch..
Thank you Tania, cannot do that but the Rose Wood at Rye has kitchenettes and allows pets.
Please do not tell your friend this but I shudder each time I pass by the Wrens Nest, few years ago when we car pooled to work the driver picked up a young man that stayed there with his wife and new baby.
A real nice guy but really jumpy, he mentioned more then once he worried about wife
as she was not good with babys. One day he mentioned the manager was peeking in the window at his wife while he was at work.
He decided to head south and his last day at work his wife brought in donuts and the baby at lunch time, a friendly and nice girl.
Long about 6 months after they left someone came in to work and asked me if I had seen the news. Seems someone in NC had found an abandoned U Haul with NH plates in the back woods and found a cooler in the back. Yup, never know what one finds in an abandoned cooler, best not to open one when you find one.
They caught up with them and the wife was pregnant again and HE took the blame.
Funny how something like that can effect people, a 3 day wonder with those of us who worked with him wracking our brains to think of any signs he had shown outside of mentioning his wife not being good with babys. It was odd also that on breaks he sat at what we girls called OUR table. He did not socialize with the other males.
Actually the Wrens Nest is a lovely place, but, I cannot help but associate the place with that darling little baby and its parents.
You know Tania I have not given it a thought in a couple years until you mentioned the place, I do wonder what ever happened to his wife and new baby.
Just ruminating on a not so cold winter night.
