Yup, media day, before the sun rises.

So, did all gear check, and all that happy. Taking my vest and sound equipment as well

In the meantime listening to the scanner. Yup, it is the last day of the year. Egads. Just hope we don't get to have to go out...really.

We will be leaving really early. And I do hope they remember to keep lights good for us photogs. Might have a couple good classics here tomorrow. Good chance for a nice photog essay.

2. Priorities will be photos and write up for boss

But between the two of us, will have material for an essay. It's the 50th anniversary of the mustang. We are expecting a few old ones.

So my question is if you don't actually get paid, do you really have a boss?   Isn't this more a hobby for Nads and her sub-captain husband?

Is 'photog' on the resume? I would imagine that photographer is there already, but I'm sure that there's some profound difference between the two...probably one which it's impossible for us mere mortals to understand.

You may recall that the nutcase and the addled submarine rider "covered" the auto show last year.

They allowed nadin behind the wheel of a vehicle, a Jeep or something, and she posted a full technical writeup.

Stuff like how hard it was to reach the pedals and see over the steering wheel, and how loud the speakers would go, and the paint color.

Yup, she had it all covered.

You know the more I hear of the Adventures of Nads the more interesting she becomes.

That husband of hers, Captain Nemo, from the pictures I have seen is not bad looking for his age, were I twenty years younger I would hit on him.

She and he have been together what 20+ years ?    He I believe is even more interesting then his wife.

So many questions of why the two have stayed together, family money ?   Or something more like one of them needs a beard.

No children, just a couple of Parrots, and a most unlikely couple.

However I have known odd couples like them where the husband retired from the service would not divorce a woman that stood by his side for 20 years no matter how strange they became.

It could be love or some kind of guilt in the mix, but these people are very interesting.

Money probably does enter into the mix.  If they were married for greater than 10 years of his career, and there is no settlement, the state courts can award the spouse 1/2 of his retirement.
This too shall pass.

Isn't this more a hobby for Nads and her sub-captain husband?

The addled sub rider who married nadin wasn't a captain, or any commissioned rank.

He was a career noncom. Quartermaster, I think.

If her husband is/was a sub-captain, I'm the CNO.  He was a Quartermaster.  Navigation.  Make sure the charts are up and that you don't go bumping into shit.

A few photos Thankfully, only three.
First an enduro racer ELECTRIC vehicle. (and that is one of my hubby's photos. I guess I was too much in what do you mean this is an electric vehicle)

Picture of small ugly car.

Here, a nice OLD mustang. I personally wish they left a tad more space and all that, but... what do you do?

Picture of older Mustang.

And yes, a NEW mustang.

Photos are really standard fare. Something a normal spectator would take with a P&S.
Nothing artistic, nothing remarkable.  Just plain tourist pictures.
Needs to take some photography lessons at local high school.  it would help her.
