To go from Laura to the First Wookie has been embarrassing.  The clothes alone caused me angst for several years.  The thought of this classless beast redecorating our Whitehouse was almost more than I could take.  I'll never forget reading that Lincoln's desk went into the Wookie's daughter's room for them to bang up with their toys and crayons.  And the Christmas tree with Mao was quite a shock as well.

Thankfully, these clowns will be gone in three years.

President Barack Obama and daughters Malia and Sasha left their vacation in Hawaii on Saturday, but left First Lady Michelle Obama behind on the islands, according to news agency reports. The president reportedly let his wife stay on in Hawaii with friends as a "birthday present." Michelle Obama will turn 50 years old on Jan. 17.
