I have to call mole on this one.

Few jobs unless it is in a company that you are paid for as salary requires College Transcript's .  Some have workers come in, learn the trade and they make their way up to Salary and good money.  Some supervisors have a 10 grade education but can run their area top notch and earn their keep.

Most company's do not even require transcripts for a GED or high school diploma for the bottom of the barrel employee's that start as minimum wage floor sweepers and work their way up.

So why would this woman need any school transcript if she took a minimum wage job in a Pickle Factory. `````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````

Umm, she's not. She's said repeatedly she needs her transcripts in order to verify to employers that she does indeed have the degree that she asserts. I don't know that I believe her though. PUtting aside minimum wage jobs, she certainly could have found an entry level opportunity in her field while trying to get her transcripts. Most entry level jobs do not require such evidence and she has experience alrady in the field which makes me wonder if she was worth a damn that she couldn't look for something on that alone and then work out this same schedule for payment and obtain her transcripts along with some work at entry level and move up eventually. I'm starting to think seeking out charity is about the only place she is at all resourceful in her life. A shame because I've always said scammers and hucksters should they reapply their skills for something good could do very well in life.

I think my experience is typical. The only time I have needed my transcripts is when I've applied to colleges. Not one employer has asked to see them.

Maybe she is applying to her "meds" school?

Depends on the field and the employer. I work in some capacity in financial services and have always been asked to provide as part of the resume process usually with at least an informal transcript. IN some other cases, if an offer was extended a copy of the diploma was adequate.

Here's what bugs the hell out of me, tho.  Most companies with two functional brain cells will NOT accept a diploma or transcripts submitted by an applicant as a definitive source.  Sure, you can bring your copy, but most employers I've dealt with will have you sign a release to the university you claimed asking to verify dates of attendance, transcripts, etc.

Now, never having defaulted on a loan of any sort, let alone a student loan, I don't know if that would bar a prospective employer from obtaining them, but if it did, that wouldn't exactly help, now would it?  Trustworthiness, financially stable, capable of making intelligent decisions?

Yeah, Amber pretty much fails on all accounts.

I think this ones transcripts pertain to some Journalism nonsense.  It's hard to believe after seeing some of her lack of writing skills.  Methinks it's more than her belly bouncing when she tells tales of transcripts.

I expect her writing skills are why she needs the transcripts for verification.

At which point the hiring manager will go, "Yeah, anyone else shows up claiming they went to this college, just show them the door."

Granted, while most HR types are soulless automatons, somewhere out there is a list of goofy shit/best of/worst of stuff that people have pulled in interviews or put on applications/resumes.
