Back at ya!  And to all of my fellow Cavers!

"All you have to do is look straight and see the road, and when you see it, don't sit looking at it - walk!" -Ayn Rand

"Those that trust God with their safety must yet use proper means for their safety, otherwise they tempt Him, and do not trust Him.  God will provide, but so must we also." - Matthew Henry, Commentary on 2 Chronicles 32, from Matthew Henry's Commentary on the Whole Bible

Chase her.
Chase her even when she's yours.
That's the only way you'll be assured to never lose her.

There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

MERRY XMAS TO YOU ALSO, I just got a phone call that made this the BEST Xmas in my life.

Xmas eve at 9 PM my daughter got the call to come to Massachusetts if she had no way to get there they could send a medic evacuee helicopter  to her front door.

They had a liver ready to transplant into her.      MY BABY FIRST BORN WAS GOING TO LIVE.

I just may have a stroke over the happiness , relief of anxiety  I have had to face for 10 years,  my daughter has 4 children and 8 grand kids, ------I give credit to her Polish half that made her a strong woman.

She is as I write   is in the operating room a 10 hour procedure and will as I know survive the operation be a few weeks in some new kind of therapy and hospice.

We the family will wait a week or so to visit her, we want her clear headed and understanding of who we are and why we are there.

What a Christmas  this is for us, for us who love her, A true Christmas Miracle  for my family.

The reason I write to you of this turn of events is that I am so excited I want to run into the streets and yell, that my baby will live and the Damocles's sword over my head is gone.

What a fantastic Christmas for you and your family; I think this prayer probably coming from your entire family says it all.

"Time of Celebration

Lord, we come to you so often in need. I just want to take this quiet moment to say a special word about the good things, about the joy you have brought to our family. If I don't stop to say it often enough, please forgive me and know that I say it now with all my heart. Thank you. Amen."

Strange family we have, finally after not sleeping last night, mother called to say my daughter made it off the table and is in ICU  in Worcester Mass  She had called around as did I to find what the Hell was going on.

My son in law  has so far only called one family member with any news and as his wife's mother I am ripped to the tits and else where that he never has called me to tell me when my daughter was in the hospital.
I had to get the news from another family member.   Really strange  Dude,

We are, my daughter and I not estranged, we spoke on the phone a couple times a week, she could not visit me due to lugging about the 0'2   bottles and as  I still  cannot drive  we  had to  keep in touch via        phone.

Now the wait begins  to  see  if  she accepts  or rejects the  transplant. Thank  heavens  she  is on       husbands  insurance  from  his work, I cannot imagine what the cost would be were she on Obama Care.

Going to be a lot of sleepless nights for me until I can get down to see her and make sure she is still alive.

I keep telling myself not to panic,  to stay calm and take just one step at time.  She is in the hands of God now, nothing I can do to change anything, I can pray for her but if God decides to call her home I have to except it.

But all said and done it was a Xmas miracle for her family,  on Christmas Eve to get the call and God bless the person and family of them that donated their Liver.   So important to all to receive a gift from a stranger
that passed on of life for another.

More then organ transplants,  The skin for burn victims, the eyes for the blind, bones, I had a bone transplant in my leg years ago from a donor that allowed me to walk and work another 15 years.

Yes I am rambling as I sit by the phone Waiting for some kind of call,   Mothers do this.
