CANDIDATE FOR TOP DUmmie OF 2013

Anyone know how to have info on a tenant background check removed

Just found out I am a FELON in 5 different states(SURPRISE TO ME) while a prospective landlord ran a background report. How do I get this removed.

I hope my truthful denial of this received as a profile mistake and the landlord didn't choose another tenant before my explanation.

If not do I have grounds for a lawsuit against the reporting agency?

New campfire, just now lit.

I think poor stupid rsmithnumbers misread that report.

It didn't say "felon", it said "moron".

The blank, befuddled stare on rsmithnumbers's face in his dossier photo is so perfect.

2. That same mistake had me looking down the barrels of 5 shotguns held by...

.
.
.
... some very nervous police officers. When the lone female officer stopped to check out
what I was doing after closing hours in a bar parking lot (I was night manager and locking
up), all I could find for ID was a credit card with no photo of me).
.
She thanked me and let me go, wishing me well.
.
She pulled me over 2 miles down the road in a Dunkin Donuts parking lot (yes, I know how
funny that was) and, while I was getting out of the car, 4 more cars squealed into the lot
and out came the shotguns and shouted commands.
.
Turns out there was someone with my same name wanted for bank robbery and attempted
murder. I hunted further and found an old military picture ID with my social security number
on it in a hidden pocket in my wallet and they could determine that I was I and not he.
.
You'll be happy to know that your intrepid MFM faced those 5 nervous shotguns in his face
without soiling himself and without screaming like a little girl.
.

Much.

Seriously!!!

Old military picture id?  in hidden pocket of wallet?

Aren't expired military ids confiscated?

Aren't expired military ids confiscated?

Not in any systematic way.  Generally you turn in the old one when you get a new one, but there are all kinds of ways you end up with one kicking around the junk drawer without any bad intent.  It's only a problem if you try to misuse one to misrepresent your military status, like to get at certain entitlements.

I retread it, he was in a car, he should have been ticketed for no license.

Randy has a very common surname, but the real problem is probably his credit history.

What do you mean? I thought a credit rating of 100 was a perfect score.

Here it is, the mind of a liberal. They are owed money if there is a mistake anywhere at any time.

rsmith, you blithering moronic simpleton fool, you cannot sue a credit bureau for incorrect data. In order for you to have a case, you would have to prove that (a) they knew the data was bad, (b) didn't change it on purpose, and (c) caused you material harm by virtue of knowingly using false data.

This may come as a shock to you, but the bureaus don't give what is commonly referred to in similar circumstances as a country **** whether you have committed fifty, let alone one, felony.

I know it's a lot to take in, that the three bureaus don't each have a Director of Checking Rsmith239847409378's Shit. You're such a consequential person, after all.

The narcissism of a DUmmy. Wow.

It was a cover letter he wrote for his wife's resume.

Amazingly, she is still unemployed.

Dear Recruiter,

I am a middle age grandma who was displaced by my previous employer over a year ago. I have kept up a diligent effort to find new work from day one with only a few employers looking at my resume and others I doubt have looked at it all,I have interviewed and weeks later been told I am not qualified for the position I applied for that is if they respond at all.

My resume demonstrates that I have the qualities and qualifications that your posting has asked candidates to have,I know others may meet this standard as well. So why should you offer me the job?, I am someone who will be at work everyday on time,in fact I'll be 15 minutes early. I will give you 9 hours work for 8 hours pay. I will not play inter office games and I will mind my own business when it is not business related. I will also not be sizing people up based on their image,I accept people as they are. My biggest strength is that I will follow through to the best of my ability so that both the company and customer have an outcome that is beneficial to both parties.

So now you know who I am and what to expect from me. I just need to get back to work so I can assist in changing at least one life, that being my granddaughter.

Sincerely,

Randy has a very common surname, but the real problem is probably his credit history.

Credit score. Yes. And that reminds me, Friday I took delivery of a 2011 CPM (certified pre-owned mercedes) C-300 4MATIC with 15K on the clock. This is such a nice car. Black, Luxury package.

We were looking 2014 Fords but you know, how do you compare a Ford to a Benz? Not much more dollars than the Fords and all wheel drive. CPM financing with automatic withdraw is 1.7% APR.  Something to consider when buying your next 4 door. All this from a guy who as late as 10 years ago would only buy Fords or GM.

This BTW is replacing our 2005 Mercedes C 240 which had 215K miles. Mrs. fatboy wrecked it two weeks ago. Not a scratch on her, but the car ended up in a creek. On that car, which we purchased as a private sale, I did all the work on it myself. It did need to spend some time in the shop, which of course isn't going to happen now.

But why am I writing all of this? To brag? Yes, but also to say that I'm not like some highly paid wealthy individual. But I watch what I do with my (our) money. And while my better half Mrs. fatboy (neither fatboy or Mrs. fatboy are even close to being fat)  has a job also, only my income was used on the finance application. There is something kind of nice when the finance people in the largest MB dealership in PA tells you that you have an excellent credit score and could qualify for about 90% of the cars they have on the lot. Some of those cars cost real money.

I'm always amazed to read in the local paper where someone is in credit default for 1000-2000 dollars. Why? How?

I would like to submit this "letter to the editor" for consideration in the rsmith primitive's DOTY run.  I couldn't remember seeing it posted over here, so I doubt he put it up at the DUmp:

Because they don't intend to pay the debt in the first place. Something like 10-15% of all credit cards given out for consumer financing are used fully, but are never paid on. Not even one payment. For bankcards, the number is more like 5-7%.

There are some shitty borrowers out there.
