A trend I'm noticing with some white people.


Apparently this is twice this has happened to me since I've been back to North Carolina. For those of you who don't know, I'm part black, part White, and part Indian but when people look at me they see the black part of me. Now, Last week i went to the doctor's office with my grandmother. While there, there was this white lady who acted terrified to be around me. Mind you I'm partially blind so unless I'm looking right dead at you, I'm not going to pay attention to what you're doing.

But my grandmother was paying attention and she mentioned to me that this woman was acting like I was going to hurt her or something. Now, I have a bad back so I couldn't fight anyone if I wanted to. My question is why are white people so dang afraid all the time? Its the 21st century. You think they would be used to it, but should I start becoming concerned for my safety? We all know how some white people feel about black people but with me being partially blind I'm wondering if I'm over reacting to this or should I just trust that nothing will happen to me.

Perhaps she was concerned you were going to sneak up on her in a cowardly fashion and bash her in the head.  Personally I find it hard to tell if someone sitting in a doctors office is mostly blind or has a bad back.

With all the Yankee carpetbaggers fleeing the blue shitholes they live in to get to North Carolina, I'm inclined to agree.  They've turned the place into Southern Massachusetts.

And, we all know how some black people feel about white people.  There is the 'knock out' game that's been in the news recently, for example.

We also know how some black people feel about OTHER black people.  Remember the Jesse Jackson statement of some years back: "There is nothing more painful for me at this stage in my life than to walk down the street and hear footsteps and start to think about robbery and then look around and see it’s somebody white and feel relieved."

Speaking of which, what in the he%$ does "Coolest Ranger" mean? Is this person an ex-army Ranger? Does he wish that he was actually a small pick up truck? Is this individual "cool" like an individual who is "hip" to the latest social trends? Or did he leave his winter coat in the closet and is chilly? Rename him "Chilly Dump Truck"

And what does "Manifestor_of_Light" mean?  Does this DUmmy think that he/she is some kind of creator of intellectual knowledge or a clearinghouse of common sense? Manifestor_of_Light! Seriously dude, I mean come on. Should be "Manifestor_of_Blight"


Fire_Walk_With_Me. OK no problem since the only "fire" you "walk" in is between the frige and the bathroom. Rename this dude, "microwave_oven_shuffle_with_me_I_need_help_reading_the_instructions_on_this_box_of_microwave_mac_and_cheese".

One more for now: TheMastersNemesis. Question: Masters of what? Answer: Masters of nothing useful. This individual really thinks that he/she is the nemesis of someone that is the actual master of something? Should be named "TheMastersGoofball" Spell that The.Masters.Goofball

Okay, DUmmies, let's assume that the story in fact is true.  It's not, but just for the sake of discussion...

WHY would a person be afraid of a black man?  I know you might not feel comfortable with the statement, but crime, particularly violent crime, is more prevalent in the black community.  Only in poor white communities will you see anything even coming close to the levels seen in places like DC, Detroit, NYC, Boston, etc...

Again, not saying that all black people are criminals, but when you have a culturally accepted norm that "snitches get stitches" what would you expect criminals to do, knowing they won't be turned in?
