...because I could work on my diction, change mannerisms, and scrounge up some decent clothes, and the interviewers couldn't easily tell I was lower-class. Because I'm white, it was easier to pass.

Most of my problems are so "first world" I feel guilty even whining about them (when I pull my head out of my ass and look at the big picture).

Indians, Chinese, Koreans, El Salvadoreans, Mexicans, hell, actual Africans immigrate here all the times and in one generation turn themselves around and become successes. If you can't make it in the U.S. it's you're own ****ing fault. Stop listening to stupid ass white liberals, who ONLY view your worth in terms of a vote, who tell you you can't make it because some cracka is keeping you down.  :sosad:

rodeowebuma is not authentic American black. He did not share the struggles of the authentic American blacks in his rise to power. Many authentic American blacks resent this. But what can they do about it is the question.

I'm so ashamed of my white self...and white privilege...we had a wood heater and an outhouse. None of that fireplace and shitting in high cotton for us, no sir, privileged all the way. :-)

He would not have had a chance in hell if he had not been black.  He had ZERO experience and/or qualifications.  For the DUmmies to pretend otherwise is ridiculous.  Frankly, it burns my butt for them to still pretend the man deserved the presidency.

We are STILL paying for Carter.  How long will we pay for 0bama?  I assume I will be long dead and gone before we recover from these eight years.
