Nelson Mandela dies at 95
« on: December 05, 2013, 04:57:59 PM »
Nelson Mandela, the revered statesman who emerged from prison after 27 years to lead South Africa out of decades of apartheid, has died, South African President Jacob Zuma announced late Thursday.

Mandela was 95.

"He is now resting. He is now at peace," Zuma said. "Our nation has lost its greatest son. Our people have lost a father."

"What made Nelson Mandela great was precisely what made him human," the president said in his late-night address. "We saw in him what we seek in ourselves."

Mandela will have a state funeral. Zuma ordered all flags in the nation to be flown at half-staff from Friday through that funeral.

There was a rumor floating about the net 10 years ago. It said when Nelson Mandela died, the whites in  South Africa would be massacred.
--rumors are legion on the net. Take it with a grain of salt.

With the world leaders attending a funeral, I doubt that would happen any time soon. But I'll keep my eyes open on that part of the world.

This was before he died.

A section of the white population in South Africa is preparing for the worst scenario in case aging former South African President Nelson Mandela passes away. The national evacuation plan over possible genocide was drafted almost a decade ago.

Since Mandela’s was elected South Africa’s first black president in 1994 after spending 27 years in prison for actively opposing the segregationist policies of apartheid in the country, Afrikaners say over 3,000 white farmers have been murdered in revenge for the suppression enforced by its own National Party. Afrikaners say the government has never shown much desire to investigate the deaths.

And now as Mandela is in and out of hospital at age 95, Afrikaners and their supporters are preparing for the worst upon his death.

The Suidlanders is a right-wing group spread across the country devising a national evacuation plan should violence occur.

I never followed that whole apartheid thing.  I guess I'll get educated about it this weekend with the 24/7 news cycle.

They'll probably be happy to talk about something else beside Obamacare.

Mandela's dead?

Damn, bummer...
"We make men without chests and expect of them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honor and are shocked to find traitors in our midst. We castrate and then bid the geldings to be fruitful."

C.S. Lewis

A community may possess all the necessary moral qualifications, in so high a degree, as to be capable of self-government under the most adverse circumstances; while, on the other hand, another may be so sunk in ignorance and vice, as to be incapable of forming a conception of liberty, or of living, even when most favored by circumstances, under any other than an absolute and despotic government.

Nelson Mandela was a Communist terrorist.  He was certainly no Frederick Douglass.

Yet to mention the murders of innocent people.

I know I just switched it over about 3 minutes ago to hear them...  disgusting.  First thing I saw was a quote from Bush 1 about how Mandella was such a good forgiving man because he forgave his jailers for wrongful imprisonment.

Really?

Items found at Mandela's house upon arrest:

210,000 hand grenades
48,000 anti-personnel mines
1,500 time devices
144 tons of ammonium nitrate
21,6 tons of aluminium powder
1 ton of black powder

The Crimes of Terrorist Nelson Mandela
http://plaintruthmagazine.blogspot.com/2010/07/crimes-of-terrorist-nelson-mandela.html

Quote
Read here the crimes of the clever terrorist Nelson Mandela (most have never heard of, denied the opportunity by the treacherous liberal media) and understand why Amnesty International never accepted him as a political prisoner. Even as the world finally woke up to how wicked Winnie Mandela is, we must face reality about how dangerous and deceitful Nelson Mandela has been.

The fact is that even Amnesty International refused to take on Nelson Mandela’s case because they asserted that he was no political prisoner but had committed numerous violent crimes and had had a fair trial and a reasonable sentence.

Nelson Mandela was the head of UmKhonto we Sizwe, (MK), the terrorist wing of the ANC and South African Communist Party. He had pleaded guilty to 156 acts of public violence including mobilizing terrorist bombing campaigns, which planted bombs in public places, including the Johannesburg railway station. Many innocent people, including women and children, were killed by Nelson Mandela’s MK terrorists.

South African President P.W. Botha had, on a number of occasions, offered Nelson Mandela freedom from prison, if he would only renounce terrorist violence. This Mandela refused to do. - Invictus Idolatry

White liberals willing to overlook violence and terrorism and a complicit media that doesn't report the facts, only the fantasy.

I certainly never heard why he was in prison at the time he was freed.  The goons running the news desks were too busy pretending it never happened.

All I ever heard was that he was a political prisioner, and it was the evil whites that did it.

The ANC was not even the strongest black political movement in South Africa. They became that when the Democratic congress started funding them above the other black nationalist group, the PAC, because of the liberal press deifying Mandela for 10 years before that. Mandela really had no influence on how that happened, it was the work of those who were in exile to establish him as a symbol and a martyr. They did that with the help of the American and British left.

Negotiations failed several times after he was released because he refused to disband the military wing of the ANC, and they still have not done that. In the end, De Klerk and Meyer, the government negotiators, gave in to all the of the ANC demands when Clinton gave them $2 million to "negotiate".
