I certainly hope this isn't how the zombie apocalypse begins. - However, I am certain that if there is ever to be a time where zombies roam the earth, it will be some primitive's fault.


With that being said, I suspect the reason for the visit is to confirm that AGG isn't one of those crazy cat people, with dozens of felines trapped inside the house.

It is well and truly upon us.  For the moment, we feed them enough just to sustain.  Heck, some of the more motivated zombies are already declaring that they should "eat the rich."  Just wait until that social safety net fails. You'll have tribes of zombie takers roaming the country consuming everything in their path and leaving nothing in their wake.  Sure, it'll begin in the large population centers where these zombies tend to populate anyway. They will then quickly run out of resources in those places and move on to suburbs and eventually the countryside.  What they fail to understand is that they have their medicaid, SNAP and SSI to protect us from them and their steady hunger for the wealth of others.  It's a slow boiling pot that will eventually overflow.

That's the problem with these types of zombies, eliminate the brain function.... and there is just as much there as before.  The best thing to do would be containment.  Skinner has managed this to some extent by providing a supposedly safe haven for these zombies to consume and share similar lack of brain function with fellow zombies.  A sizeable percentage of the population has already been contaminated by the zombie virus through lack of work ethic, massive consumption of illicite drugs, handouts and victimization.  We must cut off the food source to ensure humanity's survival.

Well, the health department employee checked my cat out.

He didn't even sit down.
I brought Scat out and she was giving both of us the evil eye because we had interrupted her important cat plans.

He took one look at her and said she looked good. I signed a paper agreeing to keep her inside for 10 days. (She's an indoor cat anyway.)
Off he went and that was that. He will check back in 2 weeks to make sure she is not sick.
