Very disturbing event yesterday

I'm visiting my daughter in another state. I brought along a friend, who lives on my property, maintains it. He's a bit "ghetto-ish," but I like that, because my home is located in a depressed area, and he knows the area well, and steers trash away from where we live. I've known him for about two years, no problems.

Anyway, yesterday, he goes out onto the streets, come back with a little buzz on. Then, he starts drinking with my daughter and her friends. In the middle of it, he goes to the bathroom, stays an inordinate amount of time and comes back out, and pulls some cocaine out of his pocket and plunks it onto the table. My daughter and all but one of her friends is outside, enjoying a small bonfire in the backyard, and doesn't see this. When they come back in, my friend is clearly wanting to fight.

They get him calmed down for a minute, and he comes into my room, sits on the bed, ranting and raving. He wants to go home. So, I call him a cab to take him to the bus station, and I'm in the process of trying to find the website to buy him a ticket, and he pulls his arm back and wallops me across the face. Then he proceeds to tell me that he's getting a gun and going to kill me and the rest of my family.

I go outside, to the driveway, call 911, and wait for the cops. They have to take him down with a tazer, and take him to the hospital, where they find the cocaine. Now, he's being charged with a felony.

The difference between who he was and who he turned out to be is startling. And I have to find some way to keep him off my property, while making sure he gets his personal effects, without getting injured.

Not sure what to do or how to do it.

I'm sure that her daughter just loves it when mom brings the ghetto trash along when she visits.

He's a black male, in his 50's. And we are in a different state than the one he lives in. As I said, we are here visiting my daughter, from another state. He has two felony convictions on his record, for cocaine possession, and I'm not about to bail him out, or help him in any way. I am now officially terrified of him.

I met him a couple of years ago, when he came by my home to ask for work, ie., yard work, etc. I gave him some work and paid him for it. He did a great job, and I found out he was living in a piece of crap little airstream with no running water, stove, air conditioning, etc., so I offered him a place to live on my property. He doesn't pay any rent, just makes himself useful mowing the lawn, or doing odd jobs here and there. He gets social security. Everything is in my name and I pay all the bills for his house and for mine.

Melanie shacks up with a hoodrat, and is shocked to learn he acts like a hoodrat!

Not sure if the poster is female or the exact meaning of gettoish.  But, if my assumptions are correct, she had it coming.  After over 300 years of real, virtual and imagined slavery, she is using this guy as her house n*****.  Then she hauls him to her daughters to show what a wonderful and diverse liberal she is.

Besides, he was just participating in the knockout game.

Melanie's daughter is just like Melanie:

My daughter lives with a couple of really big guys, and really protective pit bulls. She has a small child, though, and is expecting another baby soon, so she doesn't want a gun in her house, and I don't blame her.

I recall the oracle of Sunnyvale Trailer Park on the "Trailer Park Boys", manager Jim Lahey.

Wow!  I don't even know what to say.  Liberalism is deadly.

Bad Dog, this DUmmie is female, and she is one of those types of women who become infatuated with prisoners.  Nothing is going to end well here.  Especially since these libs don't believe in guns.

1. I had a family friend, high on alcohol and cocaine, knock the crap out of me this weekend, for no

reason at all. It hurt to put him in jail, but he also threatened to come back and kill me and my the rest of my family, including my pregnant daughter and my four year old granddaughter.

I've seen him drinking, or on pot, never have I seen him violent until this incident, and the cops found cocaine on him. Now, I can never trust him again, no matter how contrite he might be.

3. Wow, that sucks. Sorry for your encounter this weekend.

I have a personal rule that if I find out someone I've met is doing some kind of abuse of substances, excl. alcohol since that's more of a fundamental part of our traditions, then I end the relationship immediately.

Hugs to you.

8. The trick is going to be ending this friendship without getting hurt, or my family hurt.

I called the jail and found out that they only set his bond at a thousand bucks! I don't know if he will have the money to bond out, but they have my phone number and I'm on their list of contacts, if he gets out.

Apparently, he had the coke hidden on him and when they took him to the hospital, they found it. They called me and told me that they found one of my credit cards in his wallet (I gave it to him in case he needed it, a long time ago), and brought it back to me. They told me he was dangerous and NOT to bail him out. But why set his bond so low then?

Yeah, all single women befriend black men. It's just what nice people do.

Looks like your lover has some baggage there, Melanie, and you've exposed your children and grandchildren. Hope the sex was worth it.

He must have had the coke stuffed up his ass if they didn't find it until he was in the hospital, I guess that's why he spent such an inordinate amount of time in her daughters bathroom before the fun started.  Sounds like he was just an all around wonderful, fun-loving guy, I wonder what they did to him to make him snap.

I think this is a metaphor for what Obama has done to our country.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.
